How To Grill Perfect Steak

Sirloin steak gets the royal treatment, first topped in mesquite seasoning and then finished with a delicious garlic herb butter sauce. The result is thick, juicy, moist, buttery, garlicky tender sirloin steak every time! 

Sirloin Steak Recipe

sirloin steaks (about 1 1/4 pounds)

olive oil

salt and pepper (to taste)

mesquite seasoning (see note)

butter (softened)

garlic powder

garlic

parsley (see note)

thyme (see note)

Stir together butter, garlic powder, garlic, and herbs. Set aside.

Pat steaks dry with a paper towel.

Rub steaks all over with olive oil.

Season steaks with salt and pepper to taste, and mesquite seasoning.

Cook steaks 5-8 minutes on each side (or until cooked to desired doneness - I like mine medium-well at about 145 degrees internal temperature) in a skillet over medium heat OR on a grill over medium heat.  (See note for oven instructions)

Allow steaks to rest at least 5 minutes.

Top with garlic herb butter and serve.

This is Traeger Ribeye is cooked right on the pellet grill. Instructions included here are for both a traditional sear and a reverse sear. Choose your own adventure, as long as it includes Berta beef, s&amp;p, 4 minutes a side, down the hatch.

Preheat your grill over high heat following factory instructions. Let the beef come to room temperature, pat dry with paper towels, and coat with salt and pepper liberally.

Place on the grill and grill for 4-5 minutes per side, depending on how done you like your beef. The best way to tell is to use an instant-read thermometer, such as the Thermopen. (Link below)

Place the meat on your pellet grill and shut the lid. Grill until the center reaches 125° for medium rare, or 130° for medium. With the reverse sear you want to pull them about 5-7° under where you ultimately want them to end up.
