These Healthy Turkey Swedish Meatballs are savory, delicious, and easy to make. Served in a creamy sauce that&#039;s heavenly, the entire family will love this meal!

Healthy Turkey Swedish Meatballs

bread (toasted)

chickpeas (canned

lb turkey

tsp allspice

garlic powder

salt/pepper

olive oil

butter

almond flour (or flour of choice)

yogurt

beef broth

Lightly toast the bread and break into small pieces.

Mash the chickpeas in a food processor or with a fork.

Combine the bread, chickpeas, turkey, egg, nutmeg, allspice, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl.

Mix together and roll into meatballs (makes about 16-18 meatballs).

In a saucepan, add the olive oil and cook the meatballs over medium heat (covered) for about 20-25 minutes or until fully cooked (rotating every 5-7 minutes).

Remove the meatballs and set aside. 

Place the butter in the same saucepan and melt over medium heat.

Whisk in the almond flour until a &quot;paste&quot; is formed.

Immediately add in the yogurt and broth, then whisk until smooth.

Bring to a simmer over medium-high heat and allow to simmer (whisking continuously) for about 7-10 minutes (or until sauce begins to reduce and thicken).

Remove from heat and allow the sauce to thicken.

Add in the meatballs, coating each one with the sauce.

Serve and enjoy or freeze for later!

Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Drizzle a large oven-safe skillet or baking dish with olive oil.&nbsp;

In a large bowl combine all ingredients (except for olive oil, tzatziki sauce, cucumbers and tomatoes) and mix well. Shape into 1 1/2 inch balls and place in prepared skillet or baking dish.&nbsp;

Bake for 20 minutes or until browned and cooked through the center. Serve meatballs gyro-style wrapped in a pita with tomatoes, lettuce, and tzatziki sauce, or serve meatballs alone for a grab-n-go meal.&nbsp;

Serve with Marinara sauce, Pesto, Cheese Sauce, or with a side of ketchup or any other favorite dip. We like to have these on hand to use an easy lunch component or have them with pasta.

4-Ingredient Baked Chicken Meatballs

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F and line a rimmed baking sheet with foil. Coat with nonstick spray.

In a medium bowl, mix the ingredients together with clean hands. Use a tablespoon measuring spoon to measure out 2-tablespoon-size meatballs. Roll into balls and place on the prepared baking sheet.

Bake for 24-26 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.

(You can also make them smaller as 1 tablespoon balls and bake for 20-22 minutes.)

Serve warm or set aside to cool and freeze.

Turkey Meatballs with Spinach and Feta

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.

Toast the bread until just brown then transfer it to a bowl and add water to cover. Allow it to soak for about 5 minutes or until very tender. Discard the water and squeeze the bread very dry and crumble it a bit with your hands.

In a skillet heat 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil. Add the spinach and cook briefly over medium heat until just wilted. Remove from the heat and let cool briefly.

Make the meatball mixture. In a large mixing bowl, add the ground turkey, onions, garlic, crumbled feta, egg, parsley, and mint. Add the bread and wilted spinach. Season with a big pinch of kosher salt and black pepper. Mix well to combine.

Form the mixture into balls (golf ball size) and arrange them on a large lightly oiled sheet pan.

Bake in the heated oven for about 30 minutes or until fully cooked through.

Transfer to the top rack and turn the broiler on for just a couple of minutes or until the tops are browned.

Serve immediately with salad of your choice.

These Beef and Mushroom Meatballs are easy, quick and sure to become a household favorite! Full of flavor, yet made with just 7 ingredients, they are Whole30, Paleo, gluten free, egg-free, and dairy-free.

Beef & Mushroom Meatballs

cremini mushrooms (or your favorite mushrooms)

garlic (minced)

beef

flax meal

tsp sea salt

chives

fresh, flat-leaf parsley

Preheat your oven to 400℉.

Place a skillet over medium heat and add a little cooking oil. When oil is hot, add the chopped mushrooms and minced garlic and sauté for about 5 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside for a moment to cook.

Combine the remaining ingredients in a medium bowl. Add mushroom/garlic mixture to the bowl.

Using clean hands, mix all of the ingredients throughly until everything is incorporated.

Once mixed, portion out the mixture and roll the meat into a smallish golfball sizes.

Arrange the meatballs in a single layer in a large baking dish.

Bake for 20-25 minutes or until meat is cooked through.

Remove from oven and enjoy over spiralized veggies, your favorite pasta, rice, salad or just as a protein side to any meal. Once cool, store leftovers in your fridge for 3-4 days or in freezer!

As a life-long mushroom-hater, I herby certify this as a fantastic recipe!! I used about a tablespoon of dried parsley instead of fresh and teaspoon of dried oregano instead of chives. I also substituted the flax meal with ground oats (a la my coffee grinder). Otherwise, I stuck to the recipe and I was not disappointed. Even my veggie-loathing husband tried them and liked them. I had mine with spaghetti squash and peas, delish! We will definitely be making these again!

Chicken Zucchini Meatballs with feta are a speedy, delicious dinner ready in just 30 minutes. Served with a cucumber-avocado salad, tzatziki, and rice, this recipe will be weeknight favorite!

Chicken Zucchini Meatballs

Combine all meatballs ingredients (ground chicken through black pepper) in a large bowl. Use your hands to thoroughly mix and mash the mixture together. Scoop and roll into 24 mini meatballs. (If the meatballs are sticking while rolling, moisten your hands with a little water or olive oil.)

Heat 1 to 2 Tbsp. of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add half of meatballs and cook until golden, rotating to brown all sides, about 6 to 8 minutes. Transfer to a plate and repeat with second batch, adding more oil as needed.

Meanwhile, prepare Cucumber-Avocado Salad by combining all ingredients in a large bowl; mix well.

Serve meatballs over white rice with Cucumber-Avocado Salad and a big scoop of tzatziki. Drizzle components with a little olive oil and garnish with extra fresh dill (optional) and cracked black pepper.

Hi! Love these meatballs but can these be baked? Frying them they separated for me and it was a bit of a mess. Otherwise loved them!

One of my favorite dishes I have made from this site. Absolutely love it &amp; made it at the fire station (as chicken burger patties instead), I was nervous how they would go over with the guys (I always try to cook healthier options). I was shocked when guys not only loved them, but took them home the next day afterwards.

Took me WAY LONGER than 30 minutes but it was still easy and delicious. Not hard, just not 30 minutes!
