healthy pancakes recipe

This easy recipe only requires 3 ingredients and no added sugar! The sweetness comes from a ripe banana and is a healthier alternative to regular pancakes. Add your favorite toppings and some yogurt for extra protein.

3 Ingredient Pancakes

banana

flour

olive oil

yogurt

milk

syrup

vanilla extract

raspberries

Add egg and whisk to combine until smooth.

Add flour and whisk to combine until smooth. Let sit for 5 minutes.

Meanwhile, prepare your yogurt topping by mixing the maple syrup, milk, vanilla extract and yogurt until combined. Set aside.

Lightly oil a non-stick skillet and heat it up over medium-low heat. Add a ladleful of batter to skillet and cook for 1-2 minutes, flip, and cook do 1-2 minutes on the other side or until done.

Plate pancakes and top with maple yogurt mixture and raspberries. Enjoy!

Savoury Paneer and Veggies Multigrain Pancakes | Paneer pancakes | dinner pancakes

Multigrain flour ((preferably Elephant aata))

Baking powder

tsp Baking soda

tsp Chaat Masala ((optional))

Salt

Fresh Paneer /Cottage cheese (grated)

Carrots (You can add grated beetroot, peppers,corn, boiled peas.)

Spinach leaves (chopped)

Spring Onions (chopped)

tbsp Ginger (grated)

Green chillies (chopped)

tbsp Oil (Plus extra for brushing the griddle /pan)

lemon juice

Yogurt (plus water to make a thick yet flowy batter)

In a mixing bowl whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, chaat masala and salt.

In another bowl mix together paneer, chopped veggies, lemon juice, green chillies, ginger, coriander leaves.

Then add the yogurt and water and mix again.

Now add the flour to the wet mixture and whisk everything together. Let it sit for 10 minutes.

Heat a griddle/non stick pan on medium high heat and brush it with a some butter/oil. 

Now drop a ladleful (I used my 1/4 cup) of batter. Cover and cook for 2-3 minutes or until bubbles appear on top of the pancakes. 

Turn the pancakes over and allow to cook for 2 minutes or cooked through.

Serve it hot with some ketchup or fried eggs or some yogurt.

Greek Yogurt Pancakes

all purpose flour ((or whole wheat flour))

baking powder

sugar (see note)

salt

eggs

vanilla ((or ½ teaspoon almond extract))

plain greek yogurt ((or vanilla greek yogurt))

milk ((I used fat free half & half))

topping suggestions: syrup, powdered sugar, honey, fruit, etc

Preheat a pan or griddle to 325 (medium heat). Whisk together flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt. In another bowl, mix oil, eggs, vanilla, and greek yogurt.

Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients and stir. Stir in milk until all ingredients are combined - don't over mix, there should still be a few lumps.

Grease griddle and pour 1/4 - 1/3 cup batter onto the griddle. Allow to cook for about 2 minutes or until edges begin to look "dry" and bubbles form in the batter. Use a thin spatula to flip the pancake over and allow to cook for a mother minute. Transfer to a platter and continue with remaining batter.

Top pancakes with desired toppings such as syrup, powdered sugar, honey, and fruit.
