Healthy Strawberry Watermelon Smoothie

Cups Frozen strawberries, (halved (220 grams))

Cups Frozen watermelon, (cut into 1 inch cubes (214 grams))

Cup Unsweetened vanilla almond milk

Cup Avocado ((about 1/2 a large) 60 grams)

Water

Tbsp Fresh mint, (packed)

Tbsp Honey ((or agave))

- 1 tsp Ground turmeric, (to taste)

black pepper

Put all ingredients in a high-powered blender and blend until smooth, stopping to scrape down the sides as necessary. *

Place all ingredients in a blender, breaking the banana into pieces. Blend until creamy and frothy, stopping and scraping down the sides as necessary. If desired, garnish with a frozen strawberry and mint sprig. Serve immediately or store in a covered jar in the refrigerator for 2 days.

Add the watermelon, banana and ice cubes to a blender, making sure the ice cubes are closest to the blades.

Pulse the blender a few times until all the ingredients are partially blended. If the blades are not reaching the watermelon and banana, shake the blender container a few times to bring down the fruit, then pulse a couple of times. Next, blend for 5-6 seconds only. Don’t over-blend! There should still be small ice chunks for a slightly slushy texture.
