For a light, tangy, and refreshing dip that's full of flavor and protein, try this Healthy Tzatziki Sauce Recipe. It's a wonderful seven-ingredient dish that's ready in less than 15 minutes.

Healthy Tzatziki Sauce Recipe

plain Greek yogurt (2% is recommended)

english cucumber, deseeded + diced very small.

lemon juice

dill

garlic

salt

tsp pepper

Placed diced cucumber with a sprinkle of salt in a bowl and let sit for 10 minutes to release any extra moisture.

Meanwhile, mix together yogurt, lemon juice, dill, garlic, salt and pepper.

Drain cucumber, then add it in and stir to combine. Taste and add any additional salt or pepper.

Delish!  Saw the post on Instagram and it sounded soooo cool and refreshing, plus I had some pita chips to use up!  I made it with Icelandic Provisions plain Skyr.... it’s soooo good and I grated my cucumber.  Great recipe, thanks Erin!

This may be one of the best tzatziki sauces I’ve ever had! And it’s super easy to make! I didn’t have fresh dill on hand, so I used about a 1/4 cup of dried dill, and it was still delicious and refreshing. Pairs perfectly w/ Erin’s Greek style turkey burgers!

Easy 10 Minute Healthy Tzatziki Sauce

plain Greek Yogurt – I used nonfat plain greek yogurt

cucumber

olive oil

lemon

garlic clove

black pepper

Place the diced cucumber in a strainer over a bowl and sprinkle it with some salt. Let it sit for a few minutes to extract any excess moisture, then pat it lightly with a clean paper towel.

Then add the greek yogurt, cucumber, and the rest of the ingredients to a medium-sized bowl and mix it all together until it is combined into a creamy sauce.

Top with more fresh dill, some ground black pepper, and a drizzle of olive oil.

Serve cold with pita chips, naan, or fresh chopped veggies.

I was making the Greek meatballs (which are delish) and it said to pair with this. I was tempted to just buy it at the store but the recipe seemed simple enough and glad I did. This was delicious!!
