Prepare Corn

Shuck your corn cobs if desired. If leaving the husks on your corn cobs, trim off the tip of the corn cob and remove long stem at the bottom of your corn cobs, in order for the corn to fit inside the Instant Pot.

Add Water

Pour in cold water into Instant Pot. 1 cup water for 3 and 6 quart Instant Pot; 1.5 cups water for 8 quart Instant Pot; 2 cups water for 10 quart Instant Pot. Place trivet or steamer basket inside Instant Pot.

Add Corn

Place corn cobs right on trivet or steamer basket, stacking as many as desired in Instant Pot.

Seal

Place lid on pressure cooker and be sure lid is sealed and vent knob is closed or pointed towards &quot;seal.&quot;

Pressure Cook

Cook on high pressure for 2 minutes for corn without husk. Cook on high pressure for 3-4 minutes for corn with husk. I recommend 4 minutes if your corn cobs are really thick.

Let Pressure Release

Once cook time has elapsed, let pressure release naturally for 5 minutes and then release any remaining pressure.

A really easy way to cook corn on the cob in your electric pressure cooker. Just set the pot for 2 minutes for perfectly crisp tender corn.

4-8 ears of fresh corn

Remove the husk, silk, and stem end from your ears of corn.

Pour 1 cup of water into the bottom of the pot, put the trivet in the pot. Place your cleaned fresh corn on the cob in the pot.You can lay it down, stand it up, or if you have large ears of corn you can break them in half before placing them in the pot.

Put the lid on the pot and lock the pressure valve to &quot;seal&quot;.Set the pot to cook on high pressure for 2 minutes.

Do a quick release of pressure.

Remove the corn from the Instant Pot and serve with butter and salt.

Add trivet rack to the instant pot and add 1 cup water.

Remove husks from your ears of corn (or you can keep them on if you want to trim them down and husk them after the corn is cooked) and place in the instant pot. Lay 2 or 3 corn ears down first, then 2-3 on top of them, facing the opposite direction.

Secure the instant pot lid and set the valve to sealing.&nbsp;Cook on Manual (High pressure) for 3 minutes.

When the timer beeps, quick release any remaining pressure and then remove the lid.&nbsp;

Use tongs to carefully remove the hot ears of corn from the pot. Serve warm with butter, salt and pepper.

Prepare

Husk the corn and remove the silk, rinsing to remove any remaining silk.

Prepare Instant Pot

Place the trivet or steamer basket into a 6 quart Instant Pot; add 1 cup of water.

Place in Instant Pot

Place the ears of corn on the trivet, arranging them to fit. For four ears, put 2 on the trivet, then the other two crosswise on top of them. Depending on the size of the ears, 7 to 8 ears could fit.

Close the lid of the Instant Pot, making sure the valve is set to &quot;Sealing” (depending on the  model, you may not have to do this).

Cook

Press the &quot;Manual&quot; or “Pressure Cook” button and set the timer for 2 minutes on high pressure. The Instant Pot will take about 10 minutes to come to pressure, longer if you are cooking more than 4 ears.

Release Pressure

When the timer goes off, quick release the pressure by moving the valve to "Vent." Make sure to keep your face and hands away from the steam.

Remove Lid

Once the pressure has released and the float valve has dropped, carefully remove the lid of the Instant Pot.

Use tongs to remove the ears of corn from the Instant Pot and serve immediately with butter, salt, and pepper.
