These easy keto donuts are made with almond flour and need just 6 ingredients! Fluffy and perfectly sweet, these low carb donuts have no yeast and are baked, not fried!

Keto Donuts (6 Ingredients!)

almond flour

tsp baking soda

eggs (* See notes)

apple cider vinegar

coconut milk (can use any milk of choice)

Preheat the oven to 180C/350F. Grease a 12-count donut pan generously and set aside.

In a mixing bowl, add your almond flour, sweetener, and baking soda and mix well. In a separate bowl, add your eggs, apple cider vinegar, and coconut and mix together. Combine your dry and wet ingredients and mix well, until just combined.

Transfer your donut batter into a ziplock bag. Cut one end of the ziplock bag and gently squeeze out the donut batter directly into the doughnut pan.

Bake the donuts for 12-15 minutes. Remove from the oven and let cool for 5 minutes, before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely. If desired, frost the donuts.

Tasting just like a Krispy Kreme donut, these glazed keto donuts are cake based, fried and coated with a sweet vanilla glaze.

Keto Krispy Kreme Donuts

heavy whipping cream

Get a medium bowl

Add the almond flour, protein powder, sugar free sweetener, baking powder, xanthan gum and salt to a medium bowl. Mix until combined.

Mix it

Stir in melted butter, sour cream and hot water. 

Shape the dough

Grab a handful of dough and roll it into a short snake shape. Mold the ends together to form a donut shape. Wet hands with a little bit of water or spray oil on your hands to keep the dough from sticking to your hands.

Heat the lard

Add lard to a small non-stick skillet and heat to low - medium heat. Add enough lard to cover the donut almost halfway. Add a couple of donuts to the skillet and fry on each side until golden brown. Can swirl the oil in the pan to help coat the donuts as they cook. 

Remove it

Remove from skillet and place on a wire rack to cool.

Krispy Kreme

To make the Krispy Kreme glaze, add confectioner's Swerve, heavy cream and vanilla to a small bowl. Mix to combine. Microwave for 20 seconds to get a thin consistency.

Dip it

Dip the top of your donut into the glaze and place on a wire rack to set.

Preheat

Donut hole batter

Add almond flour, protein powder, baking powder, xanthan gum, cinnamon, salt, melted butter, sour cream and hot water to a small bowl. Mix until combined. 

Roll into balls

Roll dough into 1/2 to 1 inch balls and place on a parchment lined baking tray, spacing about 1 inch apart. 

Bake it

Bake at 325 degrees Fahrenheit for 6 minutes.

Dip in butter

Once doughnut bites have cooled to the touch, dip each one in the melted butter. Then dip in a mixture of monk fruit and cinnamon.

Keto Jelly Donuts

c unflavored protein powder

monkfruit blend sweetener

unsalted butter, melted

lard or avocado oil, for frying

sugar

konjac gum powder

lemon juice

flavor extract

food coloring

Mix dry ingredients

In a large bowl, whisk together almond flour, protein powder, sweetener, baking powder, xanthan gum and salt. 

Add wet ingredients

To the dry ingredients, add melted butter, sour cream and egg. Stir with an electric mixer until smooth and combined. 

Mold donut shapes

Roll dough into 8 balls and flatten into a round bun shape. 

Add lard or avocado oil to a small non-stick skillet and heat to medium heat. Add enough lard or or oil to cover the donut almost halfway. Add a couple of donuts to the skillet and fry on each side until golden brown (about 2-3 minutes per side). Can swirl the oil in the pan to help coat the donuts as they cook. Transfer to a paper towel lined plate to cool.

Make sugar free filling

Mix the konjac gum powder with the powdered sugar free sweetener. Then pour mixture into boiling water. Immediately stir to combine to avoid clumping. Add lemon juice flavor extract and food coloring. Stir to combine. Mixture will continue to thicken as it cools.

Fill the donuts

Add jelly to a piping bag fitted with a injector tip and pipe jelly into the center of each donut. 

Dust

Dust with powdered sugar free sweetener if desired.
