Lime cilantro slaw topped with zesty shrimp, diced avocado and bang bang sauce, all wrapped in tender butter lettuce leaves!

Spicy Shrimp Lettuce Wraps with Bang Bang Sauce

shrimp

smoked paprika

cumin

garlic salt

avocado (diced (I use Haas))

lime

bibb lettuce

olive oil

grass fed butter

cabbage/veggie slaw mix

sour cream

heavy cream

cilantro (chopped)

jalapeño pepper (seeded rib removed and minced)

scallions (green parts, sliced)

limes

Bang Bang Sauce

Add the smoked paprika, cumin, garlic salt, pepper, lime zest and olive oil to a ziplock bag. &nbsp;Add in the shrimp, seal up the bag and toss the shrimp to make sure it's completely coated. &nbsp;Refrigerate while you make the sauce and slaw.

For the Shrimp

Add all the slaw ingredients, except for the slaw, to a large bowl and mix until well combined.  Add in the slaw and toss to coat.  Allow to sit at room temperature while you make the shrimp.

To Make the Lime Cilantro Slaw

Heat a skillet to medium heat and add in the butter.  Cook the shrimp for a few minutes on each side, careful not to overcook them.

Add some of the slaw to each piece of lettuce.  Add a few shrimp and avocado cubes over the slaw, then top with a healthy drizzle of the bang bang sauce.  Garnish with fresh cilantro and a wedge of lime.

This sweet and spicy shrimp poke bowl recipe is served over rice, with crisp fresh veggies, and an addicting sriracha mayo sauce.

Shrimp Poke Bowl

shrimp (peeled + deveined. tail off)

soy sauce

avocado oil

sriracha

brown sugar

ginger (minced)

garlic (minced)

red pepper flakes

mayonnaise

rice or cauliflower rice (cooked)

cabbage (shredded)

cucumbers (diced)

edamame (shelled + cooked)

pickled red onions

sesame seeds

Combine shrimp sauce ingredients in a large bowl (soy sauce, oil, sriracha, brown sugar, ginger, garlic, and red pepper flakes). Pat shrimp completely dry and toss to coat. Set aside while you prep everything else.

Combine the sriracha mayo ingredients in a bowl and set aside. Make the rice and chop your veggies.

Heat a pan over medium heat. Add the shrimp and sauce, and saute on each side until the shrimp are fully cooked through, about 1-2 minutes per side.

Assemble the bowls, starting with the rice and cabbage. Then the cucumbers, edamame, and pickled onions. Place shrimp on top, drizzle with sriracha mayo, sprinkle with herbs and seeds, and enjoy!
