Lemon Pasta

spaghetti (or other pasta of your choosing)

Salt

lemons

olive oil

heavy cream

Parmesan cheese (plus additional for serving)

red pepper flakes

Salt and black pepper

Cook the pasta in a large pot of generously salted boiling water (1 tablespoon of salt for every 6 cups of water) until tender but still firm to the bite, stirring occasionally.&nbsp;

Drain, reserving 1/2 cup of the pasta cooking water. Return drained spaghetti to the pot.

Meanwhile, whisk the lemon juice, oil, heavy cream, Parmesan, and red pepper flakes in a bowl to combine. Add ¼ cup of the pasta cooking water and whisk to combine.

Add lemon sauce to spaghetti in pot; toss until pasta is evenly coated with sauce. Add remaining cooking liquid, if necessary. Season with salt and pepper, to taste.

Garnish with lemon zest, chopped basil and parmesan cheese. Serve immediately.

Easy Lemon Pasta

Lemon Spaghetti is an easy dish that is bursting with fresh, vibrant flavors. Light and delicious, this recipe is perfect for a quick and easy dinner tonight!

Quick and Easy Lemon Spaghetti

lb Barilla Spaghetti

extra virgin olive oil

Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese (freshly grated)

salt

tsp black pepper (freshly ground)

basil (chopped)

Grate lemon peels and place lemon zest in a small bowl.  Juice the lemons into a separate bowl.  Whisk the oil, lemon juice, Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese, salt, and pepper in a large bowl and blend.

Meanwhile, bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.  Add the spaghetti and cook, stirring occasionally  until tender but still firm to the bite, about 8 minutes.  Drain, reserving 1 cup of cooking liquid.

Add the spaghetti to the lemon sauce, and toss with the basil and lemon zest.  Toss the pasta with enough reserved cooking liquid, 1/4 cup at a time, to moisten.

Season the pasta with more salt and pepper to taste and serve.

Creamy Lemon Pasta is made with fresh lemon, garlic, cream, butter, parmesan cheese, and spices and all tossed with your favorite type of pasta. A light and creamy sauce that highlights fresh lemons!

In a large pot, heat water over high heat. Generously salt the water as this infuses flavor into the pasta as it cooks.

While the pasta is cooking, carefully scoop out 1 cup of pasta water and set it aside to add to the sauce later.

Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add butter and let it begin to melt. Add in garlic and saute for ONLY 1 minute. Add heavy cream and stir. Add lemon zest, lemon juice, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. I suggest using a whisk to continually stir to make it extra creamy. Cook until the sauce begins to thicken -about 5 minutes.

Add in parmesan cheese, only 1 Tablespoon at a time, to avoid clumping. Stir well with whisk after each addition.

Stir in 3/4 cup of pasta water into the sauce. Let it thicken for about 3-4 minutes. Taste the sauce and add more salt and pepper and lemon zest, if needed.

Toss the drained cooked pasta with the lemon cream sauce. Garnish with red pepper flakes, lemon zest, grated parmesan cheese.

Lemon Spaghetti | Easy Pasta al Limone Recipe

350 g (12 oz) of Spaghetti

g (2 1/2 tablespoons) of unsulted butter

organic lemon, large size

garlic

parsley

water

coarse salt

Make lemon zest

Wash the lemon and then grate the zest, avoiding the bitter white part. Squeeze out the juice and set aside.

Sauté

Place the butter, oil and grated lemon zest in a large non-stick pan. Remember to save some of the zest to add at the end. Melt the butter and sauté it. Stir well with a wooden spoon and add the lemon juice. Finally add the garlic clove. Simmer on low heat for about 5 minutes.

Cook spaghetti

Meanwhile, cook spaghetti in 1.5 liters (7 cups) of water with 1/2 tablespoon coarse salt. Take a look at the cooking time of the spaghetti on their package. Halfway through cooking, drain spaghetti and place in the skillet with lemon sauce. Spaghetti should be very much al dente, practically still raw, and finish cooking in the pan with the sauce.

Season and serve

Add a ladleful of the starch-rich cooking water. Finish cooking the spaghetti in the pan, stirring well. If necessary, add a little more water. Serve hot with more lemon zest and a little chopped parsley on top.

Spaghetti tossed in lemon juice, garlic, butter and lots of sharedded parmesan cheese. Super simple and flavorful pasta side or main dish!

Lemon Garlic Parmesan Pasta

oz whole wheat spaghetti (or regular, or mixed)

salted butter

lemon juice (2-3 large lemons)

tsp salt

tsp black pepper

pasta water (from boiling the pasta) (+ more if needed)

parmesan cheese (+ more for garnish)

In a large pot, bring water to boil. Once water boils, add spaghetti and cook according to package instructions. Do not overcook. Reserve pasta water for later (be sure to reserve more than 1/4 cup in case you need more).

Drain pasta water. If pasta will be sitting for a while, rinse it with cold water and toss in olive oil to prevent it from sticking and getting overcooked.

While pasta is cooking, prep the rest of the ingredients. Chop garlic and parsley, grate parmesan cheese, and squeeze lemon juice.

In a large skillet, melt butter and cook chopped garlic until fragrant but do not brown or burn garlic. Add lemon juice, salt, black pepper and 1/4 cup pasta water to skillet. Bring to a boil and remove from heat.

Optional: If garlic turns blue (it&#x27;s normal because of its reaction with lemon juice), using a strainer to remove garlic.

Toss pasta in sauce and 1 cup of parmesan cheese. Add additional 1 or 2 tbsp pasta water if needed, but note that this is not a wet pasta dish. Garnish with more parmesan cheese and parsley.

This lemon pasta recipe is my take on Italian pasta al limone. Bright, fresh, and ready in 20 minutes, it&#39;s a delicious weeknight dinner.

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Prepare the pasta according to the package instructions, cooking until al dente. In the final minutes of cooking, reserve 1 cup of the starchy pasta cooking water.

A few minutes before the pasta is ready, add the butter to a large skillet over medium heat. Heat the butter until it foams, then reduce the heat to low and add the lemon zest and garlic. Cook, stirring, for 1 to 2 minutes, or until fragrant. Remove from the heat if your pasta is still cooking.

When the pasta is al dente, use tongs to transfer it from the pot to the skillet with the butter mixture. Add ½ cup of the reserved pasta water and cook over low heat, tossing until a sauce forms and lightly coats the pasta. Add half the cheese and toss to incorporate. Add the lemon juice and remaining cheese and toss again, cooking until the sauce is smooth. If it becomes too thick or clumpy, add more pasta water as needed to loosen it. Season to taste with salt, pepper, and more lemon juice.

Garnish with more lemon zest and fresh parsley. Serve with more cheese.

Cook pasta according to package directions in a large pot of salted water. Reserve 1 cup pasta water before draining.

In a large skillet, heat breadcrumbs and garlic over medium high heat. Cook, stirring frequently, until breadcrumbs are golden brown in color. Transfer to a plate.

Add olive oil, shallots, salt and sugar to the skillet. Sauté, stirring occasionally until shallots are translucent and soft, about 10 minutes.

Add garlic, crushed red pepper and cook for an additional minute.

Stir in lemon juice and zest. Reduce heat to low and keep warm until pasta is cooked.

Add 1/2 cup pasta water to the pan and stir until a thin sauce forms.

Transfer pasta to the pan and toss to coat, adding additional pasta water if needed.

Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with toasted breadcrumbs.
