What a treat for the senses this salad is. It's fabulous to serve on just about any occasion from Sunday brunch to a holiday meal. There is just something classic about the flavors of fresh spinach and strawberries. Add in mandarin oranges and you have a yummy salad. Celery, parsley, and green onions add a bit of crunch and a slight onion flavor. We loved the candied almonds on top. The homemade vinaigrette is light and perfect to dress the salad with.

Mandarin Orange Strawberry Spinach Salad

If you're looking for a healthy, refreshing, and tasty salad add this chopped green goddess salad to your menu. The dairy-free green goddess dressing is a little tangy and nutty. It's filled with shallots, garlic, and tons of fresh herbs. Basil, cilantro, mint, and spinach give the dressing its traditional green color. Grilled chicken breasts, plus a few hidden dressing ingredients, add a nice amount of protein. The base for the salad is a delicious mix of cabbage, mixed greens, and fresh spinach. A fantastic dinner salad in the summer when you want something refreshing. This salad is perfect for meal prep too. Toss the dressing with everything but the mixed greens. Then mix those in just before serving.

I found this recipe for an old restaurant in Portland that we use to go to. They would serve a small bowl of iceberg lettuce with the dressing drizzled on top and if you wanted a good amount of baby shrimp on the top. When I first made it up I only made 1/2 the recipe to try and it tasted exactly like I remembered. Even my son said it was perfect. I happened to check my Mother's old cook books and found the same recipe in the Joy Of Cooking.

Our grandmother passed away earlier this year 2022 and the Altar Rosary Society has put together a beautiful dinner following her burial.  One of the things that stood out to me was the dressing on the salad. It was light and full of flavor. I thanked the ladies for the wonderful meal they prepared and asked for the recipe.  It didn't have a name so I call it Funeral Dressing.

This is my Change It Up Super Simple Salad Secret!  Why is it so good?  Taste it and find out.  It is all about the crisp vegetables chosen and then dressed with Ken's Lite Steakhouse Creamy Caesar's Dressing. I can't believe it is a Lite dressing.  The combination is a flavor punch!

This Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse Chopped Salad Copycat Recipe is outstanding and perfect to serve at a dinner party. Guests LOVE it ~ you’ll be asked for the recipe every time.

The original salad is pressed/formed. This copycat recipe is layered in a bowl and tossed, which is much easier and more time efficient for company or a crowd. The dressing is a similar but much lighter version of the original.

Remember~add dressing to any salad in small increments. Add a bit; toss. Add a bit more if needed; toss. Don't overdue it!

eggs, hard-boiled, sliced thinly, and salted & peppered

pound(s) applewood-smoked bacon, cooked crisp & crumbled

DRESSING:

cup(s) mayonnaise (light mayo is fine)

sour cream (light is fine)

cup(s) scallions, chopped

juice of 1 fresh lemon

I’ve made baby bleu salad the hard way (glazing my own nuts and making vinaigrette). Although this is preferable for the ultimate flavor, there are simply days that “ain’t nobody got time for that.” Seriously.

This easy peasy baby blue salad is a quick, easy-to-make (but super delicious) version of one of the South’s most famous salads, thanks to some top rated store bought products.

EASY PEASY BABY BLEU SALAD

bunch(es) baby lettuces

- 1 cup(s) fresh strawberries, sliced

ounce(s) mandarin oranges (no sugar; drained well)

ounce(s) blue cheese, crumbled (roth buttermilk blue cheese

store bought vinaigrette

This was another "guessipe" I tried out with ingredients I love. I always use high quality organic ingredients but you could use conventional ingredients as well. 
I tried adding bacon but honestly, didn't really notice it that much as the gorgonzola cheese is a pungent cheese and kind of takes over the flavor.  
When I use one package of arugula it seems it's more of a chunky salad unless I use two packages. But who knows, maybe you like chunky salads? 
If the cheese crumbles are really big break them up so they are smaller.

This salad makes such a lovely presentation.  It's a treat any day of the week, but would also be perfect for a special occasion luncheon or dinner.  I didn't have Sherry vinegar on hand, but this delicious salad was well worth an extra trip to the store.

From the crunch of the nuts to the dried fruits, the textures in this salad are amazing. The orange salad dressing is what really sets this recipe apart. It's tangy and sweet all in one yummy vinaigrette. We really enjoyed the crunch the sugared almonds added to the salad. We may make those to add to all our salads instead of croutons.
