(12-oz.) packages cocktail weiners

Favorite pigs in a blanket dipping sauce?

I have made these several times.  The first couple in a round cake pan (couldn’t find my Springform pan after moving!).  Now I just lay them separately on a cookie sheet lined with a Silpat sheet.  Bake 15-20 min.  The dough is nice and browned all around with crunchy texture.  These are good however you make them!

I made this and followed the instructions exactly. Barely halfway through the cook time they where completely burnt. I would not recommend.

Just made these yesterday for an informal gathering and they were great, although I did modify the time/temp like others suggested. I also wrapped the dogs with american cheese. Will make again.

I made these for a large family gathering at Christmas.  I followed the recipe to a T and even used one writer's suggestion to put a cookie sheet under to catch the drippings.  It was a disaster!  Even with the cookie sheet (and a piece of foil placed directly under the springform pan, there was so much smoke in my house I had to resort to turning on box fans and opening the doors.  The italian pizza dough did not cook through in all places and for the most part looked grayish and not browned.  NOT very appetizing to look at.  I definitely will NOT make pigs in blanket this way again.  What a mess.  Back to the old fashioned was with crescent rolls for me.  I have trouble even giving this recipe one star but I will because the seasoning was tasty, and it looks very nice in the pan UNTIL it starts smoking.  Waste of time and money.

The 50 minute timer was TOO long to bake these - mine were burnt - will make again but not bake quite so long!!

I made this for Super Bowl and everyone loved it!  Such a novel idea!
It made me look like I really knew what I was doing! Lol!

We made these!  But the temp and time is way too high!! I would bake at 375 degrees for 35-45 min and check them at 35 min !

Pull-Apart Pigs In A Blanket Are Ready To Party

Everyone&#039;s favorite Pigs in a Blanket are dressed up for the holidays in this edible salad wreath. It&#039;s a festive appetizer that&#039;s the hit of every party!

Pigs In A Blanket Wreath

crescent rolls

pkg. cocktail smokies

butter

Tbsp. bagel seasoning ((or poppy seeds))

bag mixed salad greens

cocktail tomatoes

BBQ sauce ((or sauce of your choice))

Press the crescent rolls into one long sheet on a parchment lined pan.

With a pizza cutter, cut the pastry sheet into 15 equal squares (3 long x 5 wide).

Cut each square into 2 triangles, equaling a total of 30.

Put a cocktail sausage on the small end of each triangle and roll it up in a 'blanket'

On a circular pizza pan or other baking dish, place a 6 inch oven-safe dish in the middle.

Place the pigs in a blanket in a circular pattern around the dish.  

Make sure the crescent rolls touch each other. You can stagger them in and out or arrange them in a smooth circle depending on how you want the wreath to look.

Brush crescent rolls with butter, then sprinkle with poppy seeds.

Bake wreath at 350 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes until edges are golden brown.

Cool for 10 minutes, then arrange mixed greens on the tray in the middle and outside of the circle. Garnish with cocktail tomatoes.

Take the oven safe dish away and place a small bowl of barbecue sauce or sauce of your choice in the middle.

Provide tongs and additional dressing for the salad.

This bacon wrapped little smokies are cooked in the air fryer.

Air Fryer Bacon Wrapped Little Smokies

16 oz package lil smokies

bacon

brown sugar

black pepper

garlic salt

Line baking sheet with foil and spray with non-stick spray. Place smokies on the prepared pan.

Begin by cutting bacon into thirds. Wrap one bacon piece around each little smokie and place back on pan.

Place brown sugar, black pepper and garlic salt in a large bag or bowl. Working in batches, place wrapped smokies in the brown sugar mixture to coat.

Preheat air fryer.

Add wrapped smokies to air fryer basket, being sure not to stack on each other. Will probably have to cook 2 batches depending on size of air fryer.

Cook at 390 degrees for 5 minutes, flip them over and cook for another 3-4 minutes.

Bacon wrapped smokies are a guaranteed hit for parties! These sweet and savory bites come together with just four ingredients. Make a bunch and watch them disappear! 

Bacon Wrapped Smokies

(14 ounce) package Little Smokies

maple syrup

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

 Wrap each Little Smokie with a piece of bacon.    *Note*  If you are using regular bacon instead of the center-cut bacon, you may have to secure it with a toothpick.

Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and spray with cooking spray.

Place the wrapped Little Smokies on the lined baking pan and sprinkle generously with brown sugar.

Drizzle a little maple syrup over all the smokies once they are covered in brown sugar. 

Bake for about 40 minutes or until the sugar is bubbly and brown.

To serve, put all the wrapped smokies in a slow cooker on low and add a little more maple syrup. Stir well so each Smokie is coated with the sugary glaze.

Turn heat to medium low and bring to a simmer (bubbles without true boiling). Cook, stirring periodically, for 20 minutes, then serve immediately with toothpicks.
