How to Make a Classic Mimosa

This light and summery strawberry Mimosas recipe is perfect for a special occasion brunch or any time you want a refreshing cocktail

Strawberry Mimosas Recipe

750 mL bottle sparkling wine (divided, with some left over)

Tablespoon sugar

750 mL bottles sparkling wine

Tablespoons sugar

If you are using frozen strawberries, thaw them in the microwave.

For the 3-glass serving: Add 1 cup of sparkling wine, 1 1/2 cups of strawberries and 1 Tablespoon of sugar to a blender or food processor

For a big batch: Add 1 750 mL bottle of sparkling wine, 4 1/2 cups of strawberries and 3 Tablespoons of sugar to a blender or food processor

Blend until smooth

Strain the strawberry juice through a sieve into a bowl or large-mouthed pitcher

Store in an air tight container in the refrigerator until ready to serve

Strawberry Juice

Fill each glass halfway with sparkling wine.

Add enough strawberry juice to fill the rest of the way

Garnish with a strawberry slice if desired

Pineapple Sunrise Mimosas

pineapple juice

orange juice ((pulp strained))

lime juice

pineapple slices

blood orange (, sliced)

lime (, sliced)

(750 ml) bottle of cava

Grand Marnier (orange-flavored liqueur) (, optional)

In a large pitcher (or punch bowl), stir together the pineapple juice, orange juice, and lime juice. Add fruit slices.

Cover, and chill for at least 3 hours (or overnight.)

To serve: In individual glasses or champagne flutes, pour 1/2 cup of the chilled juice mixture, then slightly tilt the glass and slowly add in 1/4 cup chilled prosecco. Then drizzle in 1 teaspoon Grand Marnier (recommended, but optional.)

Garnish each glass with an orange slice and/or pineapple slice, if desired.
