Homemade vegan tortilla chips are ready in no time and there is no oil needed. It&#039;s the perfect crunchy snack when that chip craving strikes, with zero guilt attached.

Vegan Tortilla Chips

corn tortillas

lime juice (approx. 1 large lime)

sea salt

garlic powder (optional)

Preheat your oven to 400 degrees F (205 degrees C) and line two large baking sheets with parchment paper.

Stack the corn tortillas in an even pile on a cutting board. Then use a pizza cutter to slice them into four quarters. (If using larger wraps, slice into six pieces instead.)

Arrange the cut tortilla chips in an even layer on your baking sheets. Then brush each one with lime juice and evenly sprinkle with salt and garlic powder, if using.

Bake for 8-10 minutes, checking often towards the end of cooking. You want them golden brown and crispy, but not overly done.

Make quick and easy homemade Doritos (corn tortilla chips) in an oven or air fryer - They’re crisp, crunchy, and loaded with flavor but MUCH healthier and made with REAL ingredients!

Homemade Doritos (Tortilla Chips)

organic corn tortillas

Tbsp avocado oil

¾ tsp chili powder

¾ tsp smoked paprika

garlic powder

salt

yeast

You can watch the video in the post for visual instructions.First, preheat the oven to 360F/180C and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Then, cut the corn tortillas into 6 (or 8) even-sized triangles. I used scissors, but a pizza cutter or sharp knife will work, too. Pile several tortillas together to make this process quicker.

Transfer them to a medium bowl, add the oil, and toss well to evenly coat.

Meanwhile, mix the seasoning blend in a separate small bowl before sprinkling it over the tortillas. Use your hands to gently rub it into the tortillas.

Transfer the tortilla chips to the baking sheet in a single layer and bake for about 15 minutes, flipping halfway for the most even cooking. Keep an eye on them after 10 minutes, so they don’t burn.

Remove the homemade tortilla chips from the oven and allow them to cool down completely. They'll crisp up as they cool (best done in a single layer to avoid steaming) until they’re perfectly crunchy. Enjoy!

Michaela, this was fantastic! I made it exactly how you have it posted. I had a few  corn tortillas to use up and so glad I came across this recipe. I also made your vegan cheese sauce and that too was awesome! Thank you for sharing such delicious and easy recipes!

So easy and much healthier than store bought and the cost savings is unbelievable. 
I made the first batch with the recipe here but omitted smoked paprika as I dot. Like that flavor. 
Today I used 1 tbs plus a bit more of store bought ranch dip/dressing for a batch of 8 tortillas and they were divine 
Keeping for lots of future munching needs!
