This smoked whole chicken recipe cooked on the Ninja Woodfire Grill only has 2 ingredients and guarantees a juicy chicken with crispy skin.

Smoked Whole Chicken on a Ninja Woodfire Grill

tbsp Christie Vanover's Chicken Rub

prep

Prep: Remove the chicken from the packaging. Remove the organs and neck. Pat the chicken dry.

season

Season: Rub the poultry seasoning all over the entire chicken. Let it rest on the counter while you get the grill ready.

grill

Grill: Set the Ninja Woodfire Grill to the smoker function. Set the temperature to 375F degrees and the time to 1 hour. Add the chicken to the grill breast side up. Smoke to an internal temperature of 165F degrees.

Rest: Remove the chicken from the grill. Let it rest for 15 minutes. Then, slice and serve.

Smoked Turkey on a Ninja Grill

turkey (thawed)

butter (softened)

tbsp yellow mustard

turkey rub

Dry: Remove the turkey from the packaging. Remove the organs and neck. Pat the turkey dry.

Remove Backbone: Flip the turkey so the breast side is down. Using kitchen shears, cut along both sides of the backbone and discard. Flip the turkey back over and press it down with the palm of your hand.

Butter: Run your hand under the skin along the breast meat to loosen the skin. Spread softened butter under the skin. 

Season: Rub yellow mustard on the turkey. This will act as a binder. Sprinkle turkey rub all over on top of the mustard. Tie the legs together.

Program Grill: Set the Ninja Woodfire Pro Connect XL Grill to the smoker function. Set the temperature to 350F degrees and the time to 2 hours. Add pellets if you want woodfire flavor. (No need to preheat the grill)

Smoke: Add the turkey breast side up. Smoke to an internal temperature of 165F degrees. A 12-pound bird takes about 90 minutes.

Rest: Remove the turkey from the grill. Let it rest for 30 minutes. Then, slice and serve. 

Whip up this lovely umami-rich flavoured dish in just a matter of minutes with the Ninja Woodfire. For a slightly heartier meal, you can serve it with steamed rice or noodles

tbsp black sesame seeds

1½ tsp soft light brown sugar

½ head of a small, pointed cabbage,

tbsp sesame oil

lime, halved

They take a long time, but the result is outstanding, and the effort is minimal.

Zero-Carb Carnivore | Slow Cooker Short Ribs

Kg beef short ribs (2 large meaty pieces)

g butter (or ghee

g extra virgin olive oil

dry red wine

beef stock cube

¼ tsp white pepper

tsp fine himalayan pink salt

sear

using a Ninja Foodi Multi Cooker, select Sear/Sautée mode - High,  to heat fats, then add meat and brown all sides.

pour  in the wine and turn off sear/sautée mode.

stir in

heat 200ml water, add seasoning and crumbed stock cube, stir to dissolve, then pour over the ribs.

simmer

flip

after 6 hours, turn the meat over and continue to cook.

sautée

30 minutes before the end of cooking time, open the  lid and change to Sear/Sautée mode - Low 2 or 3, to simmer and reduce the liquids.
