This meal was my first foray into zoodles. OMG, it was gone and my table was delivering rave reviews!  We will most definitely be making this one again.

Not really all that great instructions. I also believe that their should be some nutritional information on this. Would also like to add that when me and my mom made this it was only enough for one small bowl for each of us. Not sure if the zoodles were supposed to be drained of all the liquid because this was my first dish with zoodles in it, but I found out that when it was almost a soup when we were done making it.

This Cinnamon Swirl Bread recipe is made lighter with the addition of cassava flour. And, it's gluten-free, vegan and filled with cinnamon sugary goodness!

Cinnamon Swirl Bread (Gluten-free, Vegan)

(8 grams) flax meal

½ (37 ml) tablespoons water

(66 grams) granulated sugar

(8 grams) cinnamon

(120 grams) gluten-free baking flour

(113 grams) cassava flour

(200 grams) granulated sugar

½ teaspoon (1 gram) cinnamon

(10 grams) baking powder

(3 grams) kosher salt

(237 ml) non-dairy milk,

(78 ml) canola oil

Preheat the oven to 350ºF (180ºC). Spray an 8 x 4 inch loaf pan with cooking spray and line with parchment paper, leaving some overhang, then set aside

Prepare the Flax Egg: In a small bowl, add flax meal and water. Whisk together to combine and set aside while you prepare the topping and bread batter

Prepare the Cinnamon Sugar topping: In another small bowl, mix together the ⅓ cup sugar and 1 tablespoon cinnamon. Set aside

Make the Bread Batter: In a large mixing bowl, combine the gluten-free and cassava flours, cinnamon, baking powder, salt and sugar. In a separate bowl, combine the milk, oil and flax egg, whisking to combine. Add the milk mixture to the flour mixture, stirring with a wooden spoon just until thoroughly combined. Do not over mix. Pour half the batter into the prepared pan. Sprinkle with half the cinnamon sugar mixture. Repeat with remaining batter and sprinkle with the rest of the cinnamon sugar mixture. Draw the tip of a knife gently through the batter a couple of times to swirl it 

Bake: Bake for 50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Cool in the pan for 15-20 minutes then remove from the pan by lifting the bread out using the flaps of the parchment paper and place on a wire rack. Allow to cool completely before slicing

This bread is delicious - especially the crunchy sugar crust! I did use all purpose flour instead but it turned out great. Thanks for a quick and tasty recipe :)

made this for my boyfriend and he loved it!! i added a 1/4 tsp more of cinnamon in the cake and some light brown sugar  to the cinnamon sugar mix (I did 50% light brown and 50% plain white.) turned out delicious! going to be anew staple

Healthy Pasta Salad

farfalle pasta

arugula (pre-washed)

cannellini beans (canned,

red bell pepper (diced)

onion

tbsp black olives (sliced)

tbsp sun-dried tomatoes

tbsp fresh basil, mint and parsley (chopped)

vegan feta (optional)

olive oil

tbsp red wine vinegar

maple syrup

Dijon mustard

garlic (finely minced)

sea salt

Follow cooking directions on pasta package for &quot;al dente&quot; (which allows pasta to remain slightly undercooked). This will help keep the pasta from falling apart in the salad. Drain and rinse with cold water until pasta is completely cool.

While the pasta is cooling, mix all the Basic Vinaigrette ingredients together in a bowl until combined.

Place cooled pasta into a large bowl and add the vegetables and herbs. Gently toss. Drizzle Basic Vinaigrette over the pasta salad and gently toss again. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.

If meal prepping, transfer the salad to airtight containers and store in refrigerator until ready to use.

Place all ingredients into a blender and puree until smooth. If needed, add a little water. If there isn&#39;t 4 cups of puree, add enough water to equal 4 cups.

Pour into two 16-well standard ice cube trays. Place in freezer for at least four hours up to overnight, until frozen solid. Pop cubes out of tray and transfer to a resealable, freezer-safe bag or container.

To use, add 4 cubes to your favorite smoothie in place of 1/2 to 1 cup fruit. (See notes below for more info.)

I made these last night and had them in my smoothie this morning!!! They are SO good! It gave my kale mango smoothie a nice lemony zing and reminded me of the Mean Green juice that I love from Joe Cross. My husband has a herniated disc and struggles with sciatica and other back pain and I'm hoping these will help calm the inflammation!!!

I wasn't sure about adding milk to this recipe- I would usually add water or coconut water to citrus smoothies. But it made it creamy without compromising on the fresh taste. I used homemade oat milk. The colour is bright and vibrant for a happy day ahead!

I totally understand thanks for the tips, my Trader Joes didn't have fresh pineapple yet so I got the frozen...but I'm trying the cubed smoothie today....how do you reccommend using them in a smoothie? with water or milk?

Excellent recipe. I also used frozen pineapple, worked just as good, but I will try the 100% pineapple in a can this week for the cubes recipe. Thank you again! Instant relief, I couldn't believe it. Oh, I subbed Flax Seeds and made sure to pulse them really fine in the blender, and then added the frozen pineapple and other ingridents, mine needed a little bit of water, but it still worked just as good!

Today I made the Tumeric Booster Smoothie Cubes.  I am very interested in the anti-inflamatory effects.  I used apples with the skin on  for the fruit and olive oil instead of flaxseed oil.  The smell of apples and ginger are dominant so far.  Into the freezer now and tomorrow into the smoothie.

This is ALSO a TEN!
They are SO fragrant and could just drink as is (in a shot-size form, like shots of freshly pressed wheat grass)! 
They are THAT good!
