Orange Glazed Salmon is a quick and easy, family-friendly dinner recipe. This sweet and savory seafood dish requires just 5 ingredients and 15 minutes to prepare. 

Orange Glazed Salmon

butter

salmon fillets

salt

pepper

orange juice ((fresh squeezed

honey

soy sauce

garlic ((minced))

cornstarch

Heat the butter or olive oil in a large skillet on medium-high.

Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper and add to the pan, skin side up. Cook for 3-5 minutes or until golden brown on top. Flip and cook an additional 3-4 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches an internal temp 145°F on a meat thermometer inserted into the center of the thickest portion.

Remove from the skillet to a plate and tent with foil to keep warm. Return the skillet to the stove top and lower the heat to medium.

Whisk together the orange juice, honey, soy sauce, garlic and cornstarch slurry, if using.

Add to the same skillet that you cooked the salmon in and cook until hot. The mixture will thicken in about 30-60 seconds if using cornstarch.

Return the salmon to the pan and coat with the sauce. Add additional orange slices, if desired.

Pat salmon dry with a paper towel, then season with salt and pepper.&nbsp;&nbsp;

Heat the avocado oil in a pan on medium high heat. Add salmon and cook for 3-4 minutes each side.

While the salmon is cooking, make an arrowroot slurry by stirring together the arrowroot powder and water. Set aside.&nbsp;

Once the salmon is cooked, transfer to a plate.

Turn the heat down to medium-low and sauté the minced garlic in the pan for 30 seconds. Add the orange juice, honey, tamari, thyme and arrowroot slurry. Whisk the ingredients together for 1-2 minutes or until slightly thickened.

Add the salmon back to pan and spoon glaze over salmon before serving.&nbsp;
