Homemade Mac and Cheese

penne noodles

water

salt

salted butter

mustard powder

milk

cayenne (optional)

shredded cheese like cheddar or colby jack

Place the noodles, water, salt, butter, and mustard...

Place the noodles, water, salt, butter, and mustard powder in a medim to large pot. Bring to a simmer over medium heat, stirring frequently. Let simmer until the pasta is tender. Reduce the heat to low.

Stir in the milk, cayenne, and cheese. Stir...

Stir in the milk, cayenne, and cheese. Stir until the cheese is melted and combined.

Serve hot!

One Pot Creamy Parmesan Noodles with Asparagus

Place the spaghetti, water, salt, butter, and mustard...

Place the spaghetti, water, salt, butter, and mustard powder into a medium to large sauce pot. Bring the pot to a simmer over medium heat, stirring frequently. Put the asparagus in during the last 3 minutes of cook time, and let simmer until the pasta is tender. Reduce the heat to low.

These Parmesan Butter Noodles are a one pot meal ready in 15 minutes or less! Buttery noodles with lots of parmesan cheese can be served as the main dish or as a tasty side.

Parmesan Butter Noodles

oz angel hair pasta

butter

olive oil

parmesan cheese (plus more for serving)

Salt and freshly cracked black pepper (to taste)

parsley (optional)

Cook pasta in a large pot of well-salted boiling water according to the package directions, until al dente. Drain cooked pasta, but do NOT rinse.

Add pasta back into the same pot. Add the butter and olive oil, and stir until the butter has melted.

Sprinkle the parmesan cheese, and salt and pepper to taste, over the pasta. Toss till well combined.

Serve immediately with a little extra parmesan and optional fresh parsley on top. Enjoy!
