There&#039;s nothing like making your own Homemade Peach Ice Cream. It&#039;s filled with fresh peaches, real cream, and no eggs.

Homemade Peach Ice Cream

peaches

(14 oz sweetened condensed milk)

box (3.4 oz vanilla INSTANT pudding)

(12 oz evaporated milk)

half & half cream

Peel and dice the peaches, then place them in a bowl. Mash with a fork and leave some pulp. Stir well, then place in the refrigerator for an hour.

In the freezer bowl container of your ice cream maker, add the sweetened condensed milk, instant vanilla pudding, and evaporated milk. Whisk until smooth.

Add peaches and half &amp; half. Whisk again.

Place the container in the ice cream maker and put the lid on. Pack the outside with rock salt and ice in layers until it reaches the top. 

Turn on the ice cream maker and follow the manufacturer's instructions. 

When churning stops, remove the stainless container. If ice cream is solid enough, serve right away.

If ice cream needs to be more solid, put in a plastic container and freeze for a few hours until hard.

Peach Ice Cream

peaches (peeled and chopped (need 2 cups of diced peaches))

sugar

water

can sweetened condensed milk

whipping cream (whipped)

Peel the peaches and dice them. In a small bowl, combine the chopped peaches with sugar and water and mash. You can use a fork if the peaches are really soft, or you can do what I did and use a potato masher - it worked great! You don't want to completely mash them, especially if you want some larger pieces of peaches in your ice cream.

Once the peaches are mashed, drain the mixture through a fine mesh strainer, reserving the juice. I strained the mixture several times to get most of the moisture out of it. You should have 3/4 cup of juice, but if you have a little bit less than that, add a little bit of water to bring the liquid to 3/4 cup. I usually have a little bit more, so I have to dump the extra juice out!

Combine the mashed peaches, the reserved juice and the sweetened condensed milk and mix with a spoon just until combined. Pour into a shallow pan - I use an 8X8 square pan. The shallower the pan, the faster the mixture will freeze. Freeze until firm - at least 3-4 hours.

Break the frozen mixture into chunks and place in a bowl for about 10-15 minutes to soften a little bit. Use an electric mixer to beat the mixture for several minutes. Whip a cup of whipping cream and fold it into the peach mixture. Pour back into the pan to freeze until firm before scooping and serving.

Before getting started, prepare/chill your ice cream maker according to its instructions. Place a clean and dry loaf pan in the freezer.

Blend the kefir and honey until frothy.

Pour the mixture into your prepared ice cream machine and churn according to its instructions until slightly thick. This takes about 10-20 minutes in my KitchenAid ice cream maker.

Add in the peaches and continue churning for another 5-10 minutes.

Pour the kefir ice cream into your frozen pan and freeze for at least 2 hours.

If frozen solid, let the kefir ice cream thaw at room temperature for 20-30 minutes before serving.

3-Ingredient Peach Kefir Ice Cream

Smooth, sweet and refreshing 3-ingredient peach sorbet can be made with just a few minutes prep and without an ice cream maker! It's dairy-free and vegan. 

3-Ingredient Peach Sorbet

Puree all the ingredients in a heavy-duty blender for 1-2 minutes on high until smooth and peaches are completely liquified. If your blender does not fully puree the skin, and you don't want to have little bits of skin in your sorbet, then strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve.

Pour mixture into a 9-inch loaf pan, or a shallow dish. Cover and freeze for 6-7 hours, until fully set.

Rich, creamy homemade vegan peach ice cream made with fresh peaches but if it’s not peach season, no problem, frozen peaches will work too! This cold, delicious treat is perfect for cooling off with on a hot summer day. You only need a few ingredients and an ice cream maker/churn. Plus, it’s so soft and velvety that no one will know it’s dairy-free and contains no eggs!

Creamy Vegan Peach Ice Cream (No Nuts, No Bananas)

(67 grams) sugar

lemon juice

(750 milliliters) unsweetened vegan heavy cream

vanilla extract

Prepare peaches.

Wash and cut the peaches into eighths, and peel the skin off each piece. Chop the peeled peach slices into small pieces.

Mix ingredients.

Add peaches, sugar, and lemon juice to a medium pot. Mix the ingredients together.

Place pot on stove.

Heat.

When it starts to bubble (it will take roughly 4 minutes to get there), turn the heat down to medium-low and simmer uncovered for 25 minutes. Stir the sauce occasionally.

Cool.

After the time has passed, remove the pot from the stove and allow the sauce to cool in the pot.

Mash.

Once it&#39;s no longer hot, mash the sauce with a potato masher making sure to break up all remaining large peach pieces.

Blend.

Using an immersion blender, a regular blender, or a food processor, blend half of the sauce. Transfer all of the peach sauce to a jar and leave it uncovered until it has fully cooled.

Chill.

Once fully cooled, cover the jar, and refrigerate for at least 4 hours so it&#39;s fully chilled.

Peach Sauce

Mix base ingredients.

Add vegan heavy cream, sugar, vanilla, and salt to a mixing bowl and whisk well.

Prepare machine.

Transfer the frozen ice cream bowl from the freezer to the ice cream maker. Set the mixing paddle and cover in place, and turn the machine on. Carefully pour the ice cream base into the machine.

Add peach sauce.

After churning for about 8-10 minutes, the mixture will reach soft-serve consistency, pour the peach sauce into the ice cream machine.

Churn.

The ice cream will loosen, allow it to continue churning and once it gets back to soft serve consistency (roughly 5 minutes), turn the machine off.

Freeze.

You can enjoy it at this point as soft-serve, but if you prefer firmer ice cream, using a rubber spatula, immediately transfer it to a freezer-safe container, cover it, and place it in the freezer to firm up for at least 2 hours.

Ice Cream

This is the best peach cobbler ice cream! Smooth and creamy vanilla ice cream is swirled with peach compote, cobbler crumb pieces and salted caramel.

Peach Cobbler Ice Cream

(600 ml) heavy cream

(397 g) sweetened condensed milk

tbsp (30 ml) vanilla extract

salted caramel sauce (for assembly and serving)

tbsp (75 g) granulated white sugar

tsp vanilla extract

tbsp (84 g) unsalted butter, melted

(150 g) granulated white sugar

(180 ml) whole milk

(94 g) all-purpose flour

tsp baking powder

Add the heavy cream, sweetened condensed milk and vanilla to a large bowl. Whisk together then cover with plastic wrap.

Let the mixture chill in the fridge for at least 2 hours, or overnight.

For the Vanilla Ice Cream

Add the diced peaches, sugar and vanilla to a small pot over medium heat.

Cook the peaches, stirring frequently, until the juices have thickened, 15-20 minutes.

Remove from the heat and allow to cool completely.

For the Peach Compote

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and spray a 9 x 15 baking sheet with non-stick spray.

Add the melted butter, sugar, vanilla and milk to a medium bowl. Whisk together.

Then add in the flour, baking powder and salt, and whisk until smooth.

Pour the batter onto the greased baking sheet. Bake for 13-15 minutes, then let cool completely.

Break up the cobbler into small pieces, then set aside.

For the Cobbler

Once the ice cream base has chilled, pour it into the mixing bowl of an ice cream machine. Churn the ice cream for 35-40 minutes or until thick and frozen, resembling soft serve ice cream.

Pour the vanilla ice cream into a large mixing bowl. Add 1/2 of the peach compote and 1/3 of the cobbler pieces to the bowl and fold into the ice cream with a rubber spatula. (Work quickly to avoid melting the ice cream.)

Pour 1/2 of the ice cream into a 9x9 pan. Drizzle about 1/4 cup of salted caramel sauce on top and sprinkle with 1/2 of the left over peach compote and 1/3 of cobbler pieces.

Add the remaining ice cream on top and repeat. (You can reserve some of the cobbler pieces for serving as well). Cover the ice cream with plastic wrap and freeze until solid, about two hours.

Serve the ice cream with left over cobbler pieces and extra salted carmel sauce!

Churn and Assemble the Ice Cream

It&#039;s an old-fashioned peach ice cream recipe made with fresh peaches for real peach flavor and a perfectly sweetened custard base made from simple ingredients like heavy cream, whole milk, sugar, and egg yolks. The sweet taste of peaches and cream shine in this summertime favorite!

Best Peach Ice Cream Recipe

Peel and slice peaches, then toss in a large bowl with 1/2 cup of the sugar (if doubling the recipe make sure to double this sugar amount to 1 cup) and lemon juice to combine. Let sit at room temperature for 30 minutes to an hour, until the peaches are soft and have released their juices to create a syrupy liquid.

Once the peaches have released their juices, mash them with a fork or potato masher until only very small chunks of peach remain. You don&#39;t want large, individual pieces of peach in your ice cream or they will freeze very hard. Strain the juice into a separate bowl, reserving both the liquid and the mashed peaches and refrigerating until ready to use.

Meanwhile, in a medium saucepan, stir together the cream, milk, another 1/2 cup of the sugar, and the salt. Heat over medium-low heat until hot, but not bubbling.

In a large bowl, whisk together the egg yolks and remaining 1/4 cup of sugar, until light in color, about two minutes.

While whisking, slowly pour in 1/2 cup of the hot cream mixture into the egg yolk and sugar mixture to temper the eggs before adding them to the custard base. Slowly add another 1/2 cup of hot cream, whisking the entire time.

Pour the tempered egg yolks into the saucepan with the rest of the custard base and stir gently with a wooden spoon for 2-4 minutes, or until the temperature is between 170-175 and the mixture is just thick enough to coat the back of the spoon. Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla.

Strain the custard base through a fine mesh strainer into a clean bowl, then stir in liquid from the mashed peaches and refrigerate for 4 hours, until thoroughly chilled.

Pour peach ice cream base into ice cream maker and churn according to manufacturer&#39;s instructions, until it looks like soft-serve ice cream, about 25-30 minutes. Add the reserved mashed peaches during the last 30 seconds or so of the churning process, then transfer the ice cream to an airtight container and freeze at least 4-6 hours to ripen.

Hi Amy, your peach ice cream recipe looks delicious and so I am gearing up to make it.  Before I do though, I'd like to know what can I expect in the flavor and/or texture profile out of the tempering the eggs (custard method) vs not tempering (uncooked version), i.e., what does one method have that the other doesn't?  Not sure which to go after.  Great job by the way!!!!

This turned out delicious!  Very pleased with this recipe!  I used frozen peaches and an immersion blender to pulverize the peaches, and the texture/consistency turned out great!

I couldn’t let that go😏

delicious and relatively simple (though I did manage to overcook the custard- fixed that by putting it in a cold sink and whipping), but a little too sweet for my taste despite me using 3.5 very juicy peaches (1 orange and 2.5 pink). will definitely cook the peaches and add less sugar next time!

This did not turn into ice cream for me! Sad. It was a lot of work.

This is probably the best ice cream recipe I’ve ever made! Bit of a lengthy process, but I believe the process is what makes it so good! Worth the wait! This will be a regular summer rotation for the family.
