In a large mixing bowl combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let mixture stand for 5-10 minutes until completely dissolved and yeast is beginning to bubble.Stir in 1 ½ cups flour, salt, and olive oil with a wooden spoon. Then gradually add 2 more cups of flour until the dough starts to ball up. The dough should be soft and sticky. If the dough is too wet add another tablespoon or 2 of flour.

Favorite pigs in a blanket dipping sauce?

I have made these several times.  The first couple in a round cake pan (couldn’t find my Springform pan after moving!).  Now I just lay them separately on a cookie sheet lined with a Silpat sheet.  Bake 15-20 min.  The dough is nice and browned all around with crunchy texture.  These are good however you make them!

I made this and followed the instructions exactly. Barely halfway through the cook time they where completely burnt. I would not recommend.

Just made these yesterday for an informal gathering and they were great, although I did modify the time/temp like others suggested. I also wrapped the dogs with american cheese. Will make again.

I made these for a large family gathering at Christmas.  I followed the recipe to a T and even used one writer's suggestion to put a cookie sheet under to catch the drippings.  It was a disaster!  Even with the cookie sheet (and a piece of foil placed directly under the springform pan, there was so much smoke in my house I had to resort to turning on box fans and opening the doors.  The italian pizza dough did not cook through in all places and for the most part looked grayish and not browned.  NOT very appetizing to look at.  I definitely will NOT make pigs in blanket this way again.  What a mess.  Back to the old fashioned was with crescent rolls for me.  I have trouble even giving this recipe one star but I will because the seasoning was tasty, and it looks very nice in the pan UNTIL it starts smoking.  Waste of time and money.

The 50 minute timer was TOO long to bake these - mine were burnt - will make again but not bake quite so long!!

It made me look like I really knew what I was doing! Lol!

We made these!  But the temp and time is way too high!! I would bake at 375 degrees for 35-45 min and check them at 35 min !

Pull-Apart Pigs In A Blanket Are Ready To Party

These warm, easy cinnamon sticks are SO good. They taste a lot like Pizza Hut’s cinnamon sticks, but not as greasy on the bottom.

Easy Cinnamon Sticks

butter, melted

cinnamon

butter, room temperature

In a large mixing bowl, add the water, yeast, sugar, salt, and olive oil. Allow mixture to stand for 5 minutes. Add one cup of flour, and mix to combine. Add another cup of flour, and mix to combine for 1 to 2 minutes. The dough should be the consistency of cake batter. Mixing a bunch at this stage helps the gluten to develop.

Add another cup of flour, and mix to combine. Add flour until you can’t mix it by hand very easily. Sprinkle some flour on your table, and turn the dough onto the table. Knead the dough by hand until it is smooth and elastic, adding flour as needed. This should take 6 to 10 minutes of kneading. Place the dough back in the bowl, cover it with a towel, and let it rise in a warm place for 15 to 60 minutes. (This time varies a lot for me. I just let it rise according to how long it is until dinner time).

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. Divide the dough in half. Use one half to make a pizza and use the other half for cinnamon sticks! Roll the cinnamon stick dough out on a piece of parchment paper until it is about a half-inch thick. Slide the dough and parchment on a rimmed baking sheet (don’t use a rimless because the sugar mixture may drip off and make your oven smoke). Use your fingers to make deep dimples all over the surface of the dough. Pour the melted butter over the dough. Sprinkle the sugar and then the cinnamon over the butter. Bake for 15 to 18 minutes, until the bottom is golden-brown. Remove from the oven, and let cool for 5 minutes. Use your pizza cutter, and slice the dough into 1 1/2-inch wide strips, and then cut them again down the middle (you’ll end up with sticks that are about 4 inches long and 1 1/2 inches wide). Serve with the dipping sauce.

Mix the butter for the dipping sauce with the powdered sugar and 1 tablespoon milk. Add milk until it is the desired consistency.

Who needs a ham and cheese sandwich when you can have these?

Preheat oven to 400°F and grease an 8x8-inch baking dish with nonstick spray.

On a lightly floured surface, roll out pizza dough so it's a rectangle that's roughly 8x16-inches in size.

Brush dough with a bit of the melted butter and set aside the rest.

Top pizza dough with ham in a single layer, followed by the cheese in a single layer. Beginning with the edge closest to you, roll dough up into a log.

Using a serrated knife, cut the roll into 9 even rounds. Arrange in prepared baking dish and set aside to rise for 20 minutes.

Meanwhile, whisk Dijon mustard, poppy seeds, minced onion, and Worcestershire sauce into the remaining butter. Once rolls have risen, pour sauce all over the rolls.

Bake until dough is golden brown on top, 30-40 minutes. Enjoy!

(250 ml) lukewarm water

(15 ml) sugar

(625 ml) unbleached all-purpose flour

(2.5 ml) salt

Excellente pâte à pizza !!!  Je fais cette recette depuis plus de 5 ans avec un batteur sur socle et mes invités adore toujours cette pâte à pizza.   Je remplace le sucre par la même quantité de miel.  Je double toujours la recette et en utilise la moitié pour faire une pizza et congèle l’autre moitié pour avoir des pâtes d’avance. Facile a faire ! Donne une pate a pizza parfaite

dans les ingrédients il y a du sucre mais dans la préparation il n'y en pas donc est-ce qu'on le met en même temps que les autres ingrédients.

J'ai fait cette recette en suivant comme il le faut la quantité des ingrédients ainsi que la préparation . Après l,avoir pétri 5 minutes à la main  la boule de pâte à pizza est devenue dure.Est-ce qu'il y a quelque chose de pas correct que j'ai dû faire.

Bonjour, j'ai cette pâte que j'ai très bien réussie j'ai mis ma pizza sur une plaque (Ricardo)et je l'ai fait au four conventionnel mais  le dessous de ma pizza n'était pas cuite. J'ai suivi les instructions à la lettre pour l'utilisation de la plaque. Comment résoudre mon problème Merci
