Pork Chop Seasoning

Tablespoons smoked paprika

Kosher salt

Tablespoon black pepper

garlic powder

onion powder

Combine all ingredients in a bowl, stirring with a whisk or fork to break up any clumps of brown sugar. Store in air tight container for up to 6 months. Sprinkle liberally onto pork chops before grilling, baking, or searing.

Quick and easy seasoning made of pantry ingredients for your pork chops.

tsp kosher salt

tsp black pepper

Tbsp smoked paprika

In a small bowl combine all the ingredients until mixed. Store in an airtight container in a cool, dry enviroment.

Sprinkle liberally on pork chops before grilling, baking or searing.

The carolina spice rub on these pork chops is the perfect combination of savory, slightly sweet and with a bit of a kick. So yummy!

Pork Chops with Carolina Spice Rub

coconut sugar

paprika

tsp sea salt

cayenne

bone-in, thick cut pork chops

Preheat an outdoor grill to medium-high heat.

In a small bowl, combine the dry ingredients (garlic powder, onion powder, coconut sugar, paprika, freshly ground black pepper, sea salt and cayenne).

Rinse the pork chops and pat dry with paper towel.

Generously cover all sides of each pork chop with the spice rub.

Place the chops on the grill over direct heat and let cook for 5 minutes. Flip and cook an additional 5 minutes or until the internal temperature of the chops reaches 145 degrees.

Remove from heat and allow to sit for 5 minutes before serving.

Vietnamese grilled lemongrass pork chops, this pork chop recipe is packed full of flavors with the perfect balance of sweet and savory.

Vietnamese Grilled Pork Chop with Lemongrass (Sườn Nướng Sả)

lbs pork chops

fish sauce

oyster sauce

sugar

honey

black pepper

lemongrass

garlic

green onions (thinly sliced; whites/greens separated)

vegetable oil (divided)

Marinate pork chops

with fish sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, honey, black pepper, lemongrass, garlic, whites of green onions, and oil (1 tablespoon) for 30 minutes or overnight in the fridge for better results.

Grill

about 10 minutes per side at medium-high heat or 400°F for thick cuts (over 1 inch in thickness). Grill for 8 minutes per side for thinner cuts.

Make the scallion/green onion oil

Add greens of green onions and remaining oil (1 tablespoon) in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on high for one minute. Set aside.

Brush with scallion oil

for a beautiful finish and amazing aroma.

Serve

with steamed rice, a fried egg, thinly sliced cucumbers and tomatoes. Drizzle with soy sauce, Maggi seasoning, or Vietnamese dipping sauce (Nước Chấm).

1 tablespoon honey
½ teaspoon ground black pepper
 ¼ cup minced lemongrass
1 tablespoon minced garlic
2  green onions (thinly sliced whites/greens separated)
1 tablespoon oil

Marinate pork chops with fish sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, honey, black pepper, lemongrass, garlic, whites of green onions, and oil for 30 minutes or overnight in the fridge for better results.

Grill about 10 minutes per side at medium-low heat or 350°F for thick cuts.

Brush with scallion oil for a finishing look. Serve with rice, cucumber, and a fried egg. Drizzle with soy sauce or Nuoc Mam Cham.

Combine all ingredients in a small bowl and whisk or stir until well blended.

Generously rub over pork chops, pork tenderloin, pork shoulder or ribs before cooking. For the most flavor, let the rub marinate on the meat for at least 1 hour (and up to 12 hours) in the refrigerator before cooking.

I have used this rub a lot. It works well for pork, chicken and beef. I have it on a slab of St Louis style ribs now. On my ribs I remove the silver skin, them brush them with yellow mustard. I then cover them with rub. I like to let ribs go for a day or two. Then cook them.

Used this on smoked pork tenderloin. It might be too "peppery" for some folks, but husband and I loved it! Nice caramelization... It's a keeper!
