Here's the method on how to make perfect pressure cooker hard boiled eggs, soft boiled eggs, and medium boiled eggs in the Instant Pot Electric Pressure Cooker. You may choose the cooking time from 5 minutes to 14 minutes depending on the type of yolk consistency you like.

Perfect Pressure Cooker Soft, Medium, Hard Boiled Eggs

Place Eggs in Pressure Cooker: Place a steamer rack in the pressure cooker. Add exactly 1 cup (250ml) of cold water in the pot. Place the eggs at the center of the rack.Close lid, then turn Venting Knob to Sealing position.

Pressure Cook Eggs: Pressure cook at Low Pressure for your desired consistency (Soft Boiled Egg: 5 minutes to Hard Boiled Eggs: 14 minutes) + immediately Quick Release (Instant Pot: press the cancel button right away as well). Open the lid.*Pro Tip: For large eggs, reduce the pressure cooking time by 1 minute.

Serve: Immediately place the eggs in a bowl of cold water for 30 seconds. Rinse the eggs under cold running water for 5 seconds. Then, pour out the water in the bowl and refill it with cold water and place the eggs back into the bowl for another 3 minutes. Peel the egg in running tap water. Serve &amp; enjoy~

(~120 milliliters in volume) extra large eggs

Steamed Eggs (Savory Egg Custard 蒸水蛋) in Pressure Cooker

Beat Eggs: In a 2 cups glass measuring cup, beat 2 extra large eggs until egg yolks and egg whites have fully blended.

Mix in Chicken Stock: Slowly pour 1 cup of chicken stock into the well beaten egg mixture as you continue to mix. Optional: Add in 1/4 teaspoon of sea salt. Mix well.

Filter Egg Mixture: In a shallow dish, pour the chicken stock egg mixture through a strainer. Remove the air bubbles on the surface with a spoon or a blowtorch. Tightly cover the dish with aluminum foil.

Pressure Cook Eggs: Place a trivet in the pressure cooker and pour in one cup of water. Carefully place the egg dish onto the trivet. Close lid and cook at Low Pressure for 6 minutes, then Full Natural Release (roughly 6 minutes).

Serve: Open the lid. Carefully remove the aluminum foil. Garnish with green onions and pour the Soy Sauce Mixture onto the steamed eggs. Serve immediately.

Place the trivet that came with the Instant Pot inside of it, ensuring that it is positioned so that the rack where the eggs will be sitting isn&#39;t touching the bottom of the pot. (If you do not have a trivet, see the FAQs section above for suggestions.) Pour the water into the bottom of your Instant Pot: use 1 cup for a 6-quart Instant Pot or 1 1/2 cups for an 8-quart (see notes if using a 3-quart mini Instant Pot). Add the eggs in a single layer on top. You can cook between 1 and 12 eggs in a 6-quart.

Prepare an ice bath large enough to hold the eggs you are cooking comfortably. Cover and seal the Instant Pot

Cook

Set to manual pressure and cook on HIGH for 3 minutes for soft, jammy yolks (reduce to 2 minutes if you&#39;d like your yolks extra runny. Be sure your eggs are room temperature. If cooking for two minutes, note that they may fall apart a little when peeling because the inside will be so tender.) The pressure will take about 5 minutes to build, then the time will start. As soon as the time has elapsed, vent to release any remaining pressure.

Lift

Use tongs to lift the eggs into the ice bath and let sit 5 minutes.

Peel

To peel, roll gently on the counter to crack. Peel and refrigerate for up to 3 days, or leave the peels on and refrigerate for up to 1 week.

FOR SOFT BOILED EGGS:

Set to manual pressure and cook on HIGH for 5 minutes. The pressure will take about 5 minutes to build, then the time will start. As soon as the time has elapsed, let the pressure release naturally for 5 minutes, then vent to release any remaining pressure.

Use tongs to lift the eggs into the ice bath and let sit 5 minutes. To peel, roll gently on the counter to crack. Peel and refrigerate for up to 3 days, or leave the peels on and refrigerate for up to 1 week.

FOR HARD BOILED EGGS:

Hard boiled eggs in the pressure cooker are incredibly easy to make and peel. In just a couple of minutes, you can meal prep dozens of eggs for a quick and healthy snack.

Instant Pot Hard Boiled Eggs

Pour 1 cup water into the Instant Pot pressure cooker.

Place the eggs in a steamer basket, or on top of the trivet in the Instant Pot to keep them out of the water.

Lock the lid, turn the knob to sealing, and set the Instant Pot to manual high pressure for 2 minutes.

After the 2 minutes is up, allow a 15 minute natural pressure release. 

Release the rest of the pressure if the pin hasn't dropped on its own, and open the lid.

Plunge the eggs in an ice bath, or running cool water for at least 10 minutes. 

Store the eggs unpeeled in the refrigerator for up to one week.
