Suppose you are looking for a high-energy breakfast, high in protein, and has slow-releasing carbohydrates. In that case, this protein baked oatmeal is just for you. This protein-baked oatmeal is not limited to just a quick breakfast because a slice is enough for a snack that can be ideal for a pre-workout meal or provide that extra fuel for endurance runners.

High Protein Baked Oatmeal Recipe

250 g Rolled Oats

60 g Vanilla Protein Powder

Cup Coconut Milk

Cup Plain Yogurt

Eggs

g Maple Syrup

tsp Cinnamon

tsp Baking Powder

tsp Vanilla Extract

Banana (sliced)

Peanut Butter (to garnish)

Salt

Pre-heat your oven to 200c/400f.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats, protein powder, coconut milk, yogurt, eggs, maple syrup, cinnamon, baking powder, vanilla extract and salt.

Stir to combine and place on a baking tray (use coconut oil for the tray).

Bake in oven for 20 minutes, or until it turns golden brown. Half way through, place the banana slices on top.

Once removed from the oven, top up with your favourite nut butter.

This low carb and Keto Oatmeal or as some call it &quot;noatmeal&quot; is easy, uses chia seeds, is high protein, and can be made overnight, in the microwave or on the stovetop.  I give a basic oatmeal recipe below and then I give you a ton of add ins to make this recipe your own!

keto Oatmeal or Noatmeal - Microwave, Overnight, or Stovetop

Tablespoons Hemp Hearts

Chia Seeds

Cinnamon OR vanilla extract

Tablespoons Heavy Cream

Water

Tablespoon Granular Sweetener (Click here to see my favorite on Amazon)

In a medium sized bowl with a lid, add all of the ingredients and stir to combine.&nbsp;

Refrigerate four hours to overnight stirring at least once. Add more almond milk or cream to thin if needed.  Serve with your toppings of choice (see post above)

For Low Carb Overnight Oats

Add all ingredients to a microwave safe bowl and cook on high for 2 minutes.  Remove from the mircrowave and serve with your toppings of choice.

For Microwave Keto Oatmeal

Add all of the ingredients to a small saucepan over medium heat.  Cook for 5-8 minutes until thick, stirring occasionally.  Serve with your toppings of choice.

You guys are in for a treat with this bowl of creamy, delicious oats, topped with caramelized bites of tender apples and crunchy pecans to make for the most nutritious, satisfying breakfast.

Warm Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal with Protein

old fashioned oats

In a small saucepan, combine oats and milk. Simmer until liquid has absorbed into the oats, stirring frequently to prevent burning, for about 8 minutes. 

Meanwhile, in a separate small saucepan, spray coconut oil cooking spray or other nonstick cooking spray or add 1 teaspoon oil; heat over medium heat. Add the diced apple chunks and spray apple with cooking spray. Stir in a dash of cinnamon or apple pie spice and cook for a few minutes, stirring occasionally, until the apples are soft. 

Once oats are cooked, remove from heat and stir in apple pie spice (just plain cinnamon will work if that&#039;s what you&#039;ve got). Stir in protein powder last, if using. I like to add about 1/4 cup milk while stirring in protein powder.

Top oatmeal with apples, nut butter and chopped pecans. Enjoy!
