Baby New Potatoes (cut into 4 pieces each)

In a large bowl, add potatoes, oil, rosemary, garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix well.

Place the seasoned potatoes in the air fryer basket and cook at 400F for 15 minutes. Check to ensure the potatoes are cooked through.

Sprinkle lemon juice and chopped parsley onto the potatoes and serve.

Basically good recipe for roasted potatoes. However both garlic and chopped rosemary burned. Next time will omit adding until last 20 min of cook time.

So this is my first time try to make this and it’s delicious but then I saw a review about the rosemary and garlic they burn and is it just for taste and things?

These crispy grilled potatoes and are tossed in the best potato seasoning and cooked in foil. Enjoy perfectly crisp potatoes without heating up your kitchen!

Grilled Potatoes

lbs. red potatoes

rosemary

oregano

thyme

sage

nutmeg

salt

pepper

Combine the spices for the potato seasoning. Drizzle most of the olive oil over the spice mix and stir well to combine. Only add the remaining oil to the potatoes if necessary.

Slice the potatoes into ½ inch thick slices. I like to thinly slice the round ends off so that each side of potato is able to lay flat on the grill.

Place the potato slices into a large bowl and drizzle them with the olive oil/seasoning mix. Toss to combine well.

Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.

Layer two large pieces of foil down and lightly coat it with cooking spray.

Place the potatoes on top of the foil, in a single layer if possible. Cover with another sheet of foil and seal it shut.

Place the foil packet on the grill and shut the lid. Heat for 20 minutes.

Remove the top layer of foil and use kitchen tongs to flip the potatoes. Leave the foil off the top and heat for an additional 5-10 minutes with the lid shut.

Remove from the grill and serve!

The Best Rosemary Potatoes

Yukon Gold potatoes,

extra virgin olive oil

sea salt,

Preheat a 8-10&#8243; cast iron skillet over medium high heat.

When the pan is hot, add the olive oil and swirl to coat the bottom of the pan. Add the potatoes and half the chopped rosemary in the skillet. I add the sea salt in at this time, but you can season to taste at the end if you think you may use less.

Cook over medium high heat for about 15 minutes. Use a metal spatula to mix in the rosemary and sea salt if you&#8217;re adding it at this point. Then stir to flip the potatoes only when the bottom layer turns brown and crispy.

After about 15 minutes, turn the heat down to medium. If the pan starts to get too hot before the 15 minutes is up, turn the heat down sooner.

Add the rest of the rosemary and continue to cook over medium heat. Continue to turn over the potatoes when brown edges appear on the bottom layer.

Cook until the potatoes are tender with crispy brown edges, 10 more minutes.

Season to taste with sea salt, and serve immediately.

Balsamic Glazed Chicken

c. balsamic vinegar

The chicken was delicious and perfectly prepared! I would highly recommend it. However, the timing for the potatoes was way off. While in the end of the recipe there is a note to put the chicken aside to let the potatoes cook more, I had to do so for twenty additional minutes with the oven at 425, and by that time the chicken was cold. I would recommend partially boiling the potatoes first prior to placing them in the oven to ensure even cooking.

I have been using this recipe for a few years now and I love it!  That said I have made a few modifications. Our use boneless skinless thighs and I’ll leave out the rosemary. I also add carrots and onion and put the chicken on top of the veggies which i feel helps them cook.

I baked my potatoes first for 30 minutes at 400 while I seared the chicken. Then I put it all together and finished at 375 for 30 minutes when the temperature reached 165. Btw you can get lids for your skillet at Lodges.

I tried this recipe last night. 
I questioned searing the thighs with balsamic, as the sugars would burn. But I trusted that this technique was done for a reason. As directed I seared the marinated thighs and of course the balsamic burned, but again trusted the recipe. There was no mention of pouring the marinade into the pan or discarding it. I decided to pour it into the pan to add moisture. After cooking as directed, I was disappointed at bland flavour and of course like others have mentioned, potatoes took way longer. The chicken was tender but lacking flavour. My pan came out totally crusted with burnt balsamic. I thought this recipe was a waste of $30 per bottle of balsamic. I would not make this recipe again.

I don't know why the marinade didn't go all through the chicken.  It was kind of disappointing in the flavor department.  I don't think this will go on my Make Again List.

Have to agree with many of the reviews here. Potatoes were nowhere near cooked and there was too much marinade left over. The flavor was not worth the time and work put in.

I made this tonight.  Actually, I was gonna make it last night, but something came up after I put the chicken with the marinade in the fridge.  But, no harm, no foul.  I overcooked the chicken a bit, but, Ohmygoodness, that marinade is MONEY!  Next time ... and there WILL be a next time ... I'll parboil the potatoes first and watch the chicken more closely.  BTW, the chicken didn't seem to mind bathing in that luscious marinade overnight!

Extremely disappointed with this recipe! What a waste of chicken and potatoes. Chicken didn’t have any flavor and potatoes needed longer. We had to dip every bite in some sort of sauce to have some flavor to this dish.

This dish turned out pretty well, but I agree with the other reviews that the potatoes need more time to cook. I prepped the chicken and then put the potatoes in a cast iron in the oven while the chicken marinated for 20 minutes. I then pulled the cast iron out and put it on the stove, removed the potatoes, and added the chicken. It seared beautifully with an already-heated pan and then I put the potatoes back in and poured the remaining marinade over the chicken. I thought that it was plenty flavorful, though agree there could be a little more sauce to keep the chicken moist. The potatoes turned out beautifully and I think this would be a really good winter meal with carrots and a nice, crusty bread. Will definitely make again!

I had to cook the chicken for 10 more minutes for it to be above 165.  Then I added 10 more on top of that because I used russet potatoes and I cut them in larger pieces.  Good recipe though! I used chicken breast also.

I just love this balsamic glaze, i make extra so i can put it on veggies, and extra on the chicken. Breast, cutlets, boneless skinless thighs, I've also played with the mustard,  yellow, whole grain, spicy, grey poupon etc... also played with the sweetness as well, honey, syrup, agave, brown sugar..... i also add chopped fresh garlic, each time i get a unique flavor but over all this is by far the best marinade ever. I shared it with my daughters and they also loved it.

What could be used instead of a cast iron? I don't have 1 and I disliked the last one I had and got rid of it. Could I use a normal baking dish? And just sear in a different pan?

Love this recipe. Yes, the potato’s need to stay in longer, and yes I recommend marinating your chicken for longer than an hour. But it is pretty tasty and beautiful! I recommend adding a bit more salt. So good!

Rosemary Potatoes

lbs potatoes (I prefer Yukon Gold)

Preheat your oven to 400 °F. Prepare the potatoes: rinse them under cool water and brush them with a vegetable brush if necessary. Leave the skin on and cut them into wedges. Make sure they roughly have the same size. 

Make the marinade. Roughly chop the fresh rosemary and place it in a small bowl together with the minced garlic, salt, and olive oil. Stir well. 

Place the potatoes in a large bowl and toss with the marinade. 

Line a baking tray with parchment paper and place the potatoes on top.

Bake the potatoes for 30 minutes until crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Then increase the temperature to 450° and turn on the grill function for extra crispiness. Be careful as the potatoes burn very easily with this setting. So stay close by and take them out of the oven once the crispiness is to your personal liking.

Preheat the oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit.

Wash the potatoes, then dice them into 1/2 to 3/4 inch cubes. Finely chop the rosemary. Thinly slice the half lemon.

Preheat the oven to 425°F. Chop the potatoes into bite-size pieces and place them in a large bowl. Drizzle with olive oil and toss with your hands to coat thoroughly. 

Sprinkle generously with salt, pepper and rosemary. Toss again to distribute the spices over all the pieces. Spread the potatoes across a well oiled baking sheet.

Roasted Lemon Rosemary Potatoes

tbsp extra virgin olive oil (divided)

Dice the potatoes into quarters - as seen above in the photos. Place them in a large bowl and cover them with water. Let them soak for 30 minutes.

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.

Once done soaking, remove from the bowl and dry them off very well (I&#039;m talking drying EACH potato) with either a clean tea towel OR paper towels.

Place the dried potatoes into a bowl and add 3 tbsp of olive oil, 1 tsp salt, 1 tsp garlic powder, 1 tsp lemon zest and 2 tsp of freshly diced rosemary. Stir gently to make sure each potato is coated evenly with the ingredients.

Place the potatoes onto a large sheet pan - making sure they don&#039;t touch one another. If need be, you can use 2 sheet pans.

Roast the potatoes for 20 minutes. Remove the pan and add 2 tbsp more of olive oil. Do NOT flip or move the potatoes even after you add the extra olive oil.

Roast for an additional 20-25 minutes, or until extra crispy/golden brown.

Remove from the sheet an into a large bowl and garnish with additional lemon zest, flaky sea salt and fresh rosemary if desired. For extra lemon flavor, add a squeeze of fresh lemon juice. So delicious! Enjoy! Store leftovers in tupperware in the fridge for up to 3 days.

These are so good. We eat roasted potatoes in our house at least once a week but cooked in the oven. Tried these and my 20 year old said they were the best and went for seconds!  Will definitely be on our rotation.

If you think a potato doesn't get better, do this! They're seriously crispy and delicious. I make them all the time now and they don't make you feel icky like super heavy fried potatoes. Best part, if you make a bunch then store them in the fridge they re-heat awesome!
