Try this savory salad granola, made with oats, walnuts, seeds, and spices, to top your salads, soups, and dips. It&#039;s easy and adaptable.

Savory Salad Granola

rolled oats*

walnuts (coarsely crushed)

sunflower seeds

sesame seeds

fennel seeds

smoked paprika

garlic powder

salt

olive oil

maple syrup

Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C) and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.

Mix together all the granola ingredients to coat in the oil and syrup. Spread  evenly on a lined baking sheet and bake for 15 -20 minutes, shaking once halfway, until crisp and golden. Leave to cool on the sheet.

Once fully cool, transfer to a sealed container and keep at room temperature for up to a week.

Savory granola perfect for sprinkling on salads, veggies, and bowls or eating by the handful. With rosemary and kale chips, it provides a fun boost of flavor, texture, and nutrition. *This recipe is oil-free as written. If you consume oil and want a crispier granola, add 3 to 4 Tbsp olive oil along with the other wet ingredients.Makes about 4 cups.

apple cider vinegar

Cheesy Oil-Free Kale Chips (Or sub store-bought kale chips.)

Preheat

Preheat oven to 300 degrees F, and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper or silicone mat.

In a large mixing bowl whisk together the tahini, maple syrup, and vinegar.

Combine

Add the oats, nuts, seeds, rosemary, salt, garlic, cayenne, and pepper to the bowl. Use your hands to work the tahini-maple mixture into the dry ingredients.

Bake

Spread evenly on the baking sheet, and bake for 28 to 32 minutes, stirring after 15 minutes.

Cool

Let cool completely. Crumble the kale chips onto the pan.
