Grilling garlic is so delicious. Crispy on the outside, tender on the inside with a mild garlic taste. You don&#039;t want to miss garlic scape season!

Grilled Garlic Scapes Recipe

garlic scapes

olive oil

smoked sea salt

black truffle salt ((to garnish/optional))

Wash

Cut off dry ends and thick stalk ends (the bulb at the end).

Place

You can choose to leave them whole if you wish, or cut them into long pieces. Place in a bowl.

Massage them with the olive oil, and season with the smoked sea salt. You can also add pepper if you wish.

To Prepare The Garlic Scapes:

Heat

Prepare

Oil a grill basket, and add the prepared garlic scapes.

Cook

Grill for about 10 minutes, turning several times. Garlic scapes&nbsp;are done when they are slightly browned on the outside, and tender on the inside. Very similar to asparagus.

Remove

Remove from grill, and season with black truffle salt.

To Grill The Garlic Scapes:

Fresh fiddleheads are perfectely roasted with olive oil, and topped with feta cheese.  A simple side dish that is easy and delicious.

Roasted Fiddlehead Ferns

fiddlehead ferns

olive oil ((I used butter flavoured))

salt & pepper ((to taste))

feta cheese ((crumbled))

Preheat

Wash the fiddleheads (several times) and pat dry. I used a kitchen towel.

Clean

Remove any loose brown leaves, and trim any dry ends.

Place cleaned fiddleheads into a roasting dish.

Coat

Season

Season with salt &amp; pepper. I use smoked sea salt.

Roast

Roast for 25-30 minutes, stirring about 1/2 way through.

Remove from oven and place on a serving tray.
