garlic (finely minced or pressed)

soy sauce

Heat 3 tbs of oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Add the shrimp and cook for about 1 minute each side; until it turns pink. Add the green onion, garlic and ginger and toss to combine. If the shrimp look a bit dry, add the additional 1 tbs of oil.

Add the white wine and and boil until it’s reduced by half. Add the soy sauce and dark sesame oil; stir to combine.

Excellent recipe! Easy to follow, flavorful and a party hit. I took the advice of others about potential for sogginess and chilled the shrimp after cooking. I brought the chips, avocado & shrimp bagged separately and assembled at the party. Tasty with cold shrimp for a summer party!

It was a big hit at my future son in laws birthday party. They were doing a Mexican theme and wanted a good appetizer. The only problem was that the tortilla chip got soggy after the last few sat for awhile. Maybe add some crushed pieces of tortilla before the guacamole.

Preheat oven to 400°F.

Line a rimmed baking sheet with foil. Add shrimp to a bowl, drizzle with olive oil, sprinkle with salt and pepper. Mix until coated. Turn out onto sheet pan and spread into an even layer.

Roast for 8 to 10 minutes, or until the shrimp turn pink and firm.

To make the cocktail sauce, combine ketchup, chili sauce, horseradish, lemon juice, Worcestershire, and hot sauce. Mix until well combined.

Pour sauce into a dish and serve with shrimp and extra lemon for squeezing.
