This Grilled Shrimp Boil in Foil Packets is a flavor-packed meal that&#039;s easy to make on the grill or in the oven! This hearty dinner is filled with perfectly seasoned potatoes, shrimp, sausage and more.

Grilled Shrimp Boil in Foil Packets

baby potatoes, (cut into 1.5-inch cubes)

corn

raw shrimp, (thawed, peeled, and deveined)

Andouille smoked sausage,

yellow onion, (thinly sliced)

garlic, (minced)

butter, (melted)

salt

black pepper

bay seasoning

lemon slices & chopped fresh parsley, (for garnish)

Preheat GRILL to 400˚F. Tear out 4 large (measuring 12x12) heavy duty foil sheets. Set aside.

Add 8 cups of water to a large pot and set over high heat; bring to a boil. Add potatoes and corn to boiling water; reduce heat to a steady simmer and continue to cook for 10 minutes. Drain.

In a large mixing bowl combine shrimp, sausages, onion, garlic, potatoes, and corn.

Add melted butter to the shrimp mixture. Season with salt, pepper, and old bay seasoning; stir until thoroughly combined.

Divide the shrimp mixture ingredients between the four aluminum foil sheets. Wrap foils tightly around the ingredients and seal it all together.

Place the packets directly on the grill and cook for 15 minutes, flipping once halfway through cooking. Remove from grill.

Carefully open up the packets, garnish with lemon and parsley; serve and enjoy!

Grill Directions

Preheat oven to 400˚F.

Transfer prepared packets to a large baking sheet.

Cook for 15 minutes.

Remove from oven and serve.

c. corn kernels (from 1 ear, or thawed if frozen)

EASY old bay shrimp boil recipe needs just 9 basic ingredients. This classic low country shrimp boil sounds fancy, but it's easy enough for a weeknights!

Low Country Old Bay Shrimp Boil Recipe

light beer

Tbsp. old bay seasoning +

lemons

white onion,

lb. baby red potatoes, washed and cut in half

raw shrimp, thawed (tail-on shrimp peeled and deveined)

smoked andouille sausage,

butter

Fill a large stock pot with beer, water and 2 tablespoons old bay. Slice one lemon in half and squeeze both sides into pot. Place lemon halves in the pot after you squeeze them. Bring to a boil over high heat. 

Add potatoes and cook for about 7 minutes.

Add sausage and onion, cook for 5 minutes.

Add corn and cook for another 5 minutes, until corn and potatoes are tender.

Add shrimp and cook for about 1-3 minutes, until it turns pink and is cooked through.

While shrimp boil is cooking, melt together butter and juice from remaining lemon. Season lemon butter with a sprinkle of old bay.

Drain and serve with lemon butter sauce and additional old bay for sprinkling.

Old Bay Shrimp Boil Recipe

Shrimp Boil Foil Packets have all the great flavors of a traditional shrimp boil, but made in foil for an easy, no-fuss dinner at home or while camping, with little clean-up. Cook it on the grill or in the oven.

Shrimp Boil Foil Packets

shrimp

sausage

baby red potatoes (, halved

garlic (, minced)

Creole seasoning

parsley

salt and black pepper (, to taste)

lemon juice

unsalted butter (, divided)

If using the OVEN: preheat the oven to 425 degrees F. If GRILLING: prepare the grill to medium-high (450 degrees F.)

Cut 5 large sheets of heavy duty foil (about 12-inches wide by 18-inches long.) Coat foil generously with nonstick cooking spray.

In a large bowl, toss together all the ingredients (except the butter.)

Divide mixture evenly into 5 equal portions and add to the center of each sheet of foil. Place 1 tablespoon butter on top of each.

To seal the foil packet, bring the short sides together in the middle and gently fold down over the ingredients, leaving a little space for steam. Then roll up the ends to seal closed.

Place foil packets on the grill and cook for 25-30 minutes (flipping halfway through), OR bake in the oven for 30-35 minutes until veggies are tender.

(Test only 1 packet at a time; every time the packets are opened, the steam is released so it will take longer to cook.)

Serve immediately and enjoy.
