Oil-Free Stir-Fried Rice is one of our favorite WFPB meals to make in hurry. We always try to have cooked rice on hand just for this recipe!

Oil-Free Stir-Fried Rice

cups brown rice (cooked)

cups chopped vegetables (fresh

tbs soy sauce or liquid aminos

Add your vegetables into a medium-sized stockpot and turn the burner onto a medium heat. Cover with a lid and cook for 5 to 10 minutes depending on if you are using fresh or frozen vegetables.

Uncover, and stir in the rice and soy sauce. Cook for an additional 5 minutes, uncovered.

Oil Free Stir Fried Rice (Vegan, WFPB)

Spam fried rice with egg takes less than 20 minutes to cook. Crispy pan-fried Spam, fluffy eggs, and simple vegetables creates a delicious weeknight meal that the whole family will love.

Quick Spam Fried Rice

tbsp oil (divided)

eggs (beaten)

oz Spam (low sodium preferred)

garlic (minced)

peas (thawed)

corn kernel (thawed)

rice

soy sauce

oyster sauce

tsp sesame oil

tsp white pepper (or black pepper)

To make the fried riced sauce, mix all the ingredients in a small bowl and set aside.

Heat a tablespoon of oil in a wok or a large skillet over med-high heat. Add the beaten eggs and stir until they are half cooked (still slightly wet). Transfer the eggs to a plate and set aside.

Heat another tablespoon of oil, add Spam pieces and fry until they are crisp and slightly browned, about 2-3 minutes. Add garlic, green onion and stir fry for 1 minute.

Add peas and corn and continue to fry for 30 seconds. Add rice and toss with spam and vegetables until rice grains are separated and well incorporated.

Pour the sauce over and toss well with fried rice. Add the reserved scramble egg and continue to toss to heat through. Serve hot. 

Tender rice, loaded with beef, corn, onion, carrots, with the added kick of Serrano peppers.

Easy Stir-Fried Rice

beef

carrot ((sliced))

onions ((diced))

Serrano pepper ((sliced))

Tbsp ginger ((minced))

garlic ((sliced))

corn ((or frozen))

leftover rice ((cold))

Tbsp toasted sesame seeds ((optional))

Sriracha sauce ((optional))

heat wok

Heat oil in a wok. Stir-fry the meat for one minute. Add carrots and cook for an additional minute.

add onion

Add onion, ginger, and pepper. Stir-fry for one minute. Add onion, ginger, and pepper. Stir-fry for one minute.

add corn

Add corn and garlic, continue to stir-fry for another minute.

add rice

Finally, add the rice and mix in with the other ingredients. Stir-fry for a few additional minutes. Add soy sauce and stir in with the other wok ingredients.

serve rice

Serve rice sprinkled with toasted sesame seeds and Sriracha sauce, if desired.
