How to make Stove-Top Stuffing in the slow cooker

box Stove Top Stuffing Mix ((any flavor))

water

salted butter

Add the water and butter (unmelted) into your slow cooker.

Cover, and cook on HIGH for 1.5 hours or until hot.

Add the stuffing mix and stir.

Place the lid back on the slow cooker and switch to the warm setting. Let stand for 5 minutes.

Fluff with a fork and serve!

Mom's Homemade Stove Top Stuffing

bread

garlic

poultry seasoning

Melt the butter in a large skillet. Add the onion, carrots, celery and mushrooms. Sautee until soft. Add in the garlic and fry for another 2-3 minutes.

Sprinkle in the seasoning and mix throughout. Pour in the chicken broth and stir until combined.

Add in the bread cubes and toss with a wooden spoon etc. to coat the cubes as much as you can with the mixture, trying not to squish the cubes.

Remove from the hot burner and place a lid on top and let sit for 10 minutes off of the heat.

Remove, fluff again and serve.

A quick and easy ground beef dinner recipe your family will love! This budget meal takes less than 5 minutes to prepare, and then the oven does all the work for you. No fussy steps or exotic ingredients here, just 4 cheap ingredients needed to make the best meatloaf, ever!

The Best Meatloaf Recipe (Made With Stove Top Stuffing)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

In a large bowl, mix together the ground beef, dry stuffing mix, eggs, water and HALF of the ketchup.

Place the mixture into a greased bread loaf pan. If you don&#39;t have one, you can form a loaf and place it on a foil lined baking sheet. Fold the edges of the foil up to keep the beef juices contained for easier clean-up.

Spread the remaining ketchup over top. You can also use bbq sauce, chili sauce or a combination of sauces.

Bake for 45-50 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 160 degrees F.

Allow the meatloaf to rest for about 5 minutes before slicing. Enjoy with mashed potatoes or anything else you&#39;d like!

This EASY Chicken and Stuffing Casserole has juicy chicken smothered in a creamy sauce that&#039;s topped with green beans and savory stuffing.

Chicken and Stuffing Casserole

Tablespoons butter

lbs. Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts

Salt/Pepper (to taste)

½ cups frozen green beans (thawed and patted dry)

cream of chicken soup

sour cream

milk

thyme

sage

dry stuffing mix (see notes)

Preheat oven to 375.

Melt the butter in a small skillet over medium heat. Add the onions, celery, and sausage and sauté until softened, about 5 minutes.

Cut the chicken into bite-sized pieces and pat it dry. Place on the bottom of a lightly greased 9 x 13-inch baking dish. Sprinkle lightly with salt and pepper.

Combine the cream of chicken soup, sour cream, milk, ½ tsp dried thyme, and ¼ tsp ground sage. Add it to the top of the chicken and spread evenly to coat.

Add the thawed green beans next. Note: The green beans will be al dente (have a slight crunch). For softer green beans, submerge them into the sauce a bit.

Combine the stuffing mix, chicken broth, sauteed onions, celery, and diced sausage. Add it to the top of the casserole dish.

Cover and bake for 40 minutes. Remove the cover and bake for 5 more minutes.

Serve with my mashed potatoes and 10-minute chicken gravy!
