I also made these with Hawaiian rolls. I didn’t use quite as much cheese or bacon and they were still very hearty. I made them early, kept them chilled and cook them a bit longer and they were fantastic! A great menu item for a make ahead breakfast.

Not bad, I used Hawaiian rolls as that was the only thing available and only brushed with butter.   My kids wouldn't touch them of course so now I have to figure out how to store the left overs lol

Dr. Pepper Meatballs

beef

bread crumbs

egg, lightly beaten

garlic powder

Worcestershire sauce

I made these meatballs today and they were AMAZING! Wish I'd doubled the recipe. I did modify it a bit. I added 1/4 cup diced onion to the meatballs. I didn't have catsup so I substituted a 15oz can tomatoe sauce & 1/4 cup brown sugar. Also added 6oz. more DP for saucier meatballs. Delicious! :-)

This was good! I added extra egg as others pointed out, and instead of 2 sodas, i used 1/2 can + 1 1/2 spoons of grape jelly to compensate for sugars and speed hack the reduction time for simmering. Served over cold canned corn. Was a big hit with the kids!

4 stars, really good & a hit every time I've made them!  And I had a request for them at another event.  But there is a lot of sauce, 8-10 minutes not enough to reduce by 1/2.  And if you cook down 1st w/soda & ketchup they splat badly.  Everywhere.  So now I cook the soda alone to reduce almost to a syrup, then the rest & then simmer w/ meatballs 1/2 hour.  Yes they are sweet.

I bet the sauce would be good on meatloaf as well.

Took these for a potluck and they were a big hit.

VERY GOOD! 
I would suggest adding one more egg to the meatballs and little less breadcrumbs and maybe a half recipe for the sauce.

Tried it unfortunately my meatballs didn’t stay together well but they taste good to me lol allot of extra sauce it didn’t thicken well ad to add corn starch..:: and added some sugar to the sauce

These Meatballs Have A Crazy Secret Ingredient

This cheesy, creamy dip is made with chicken breast chunks, spicy smoked sausage, and has just the right amount of heat! This dip is ready for your next tailgating event, and trust me - it will not last long!

Cheesy Cajun Chicken and Sausage Dip

extra virgin olive oil (or vegetable oil)

chicken breasts

sausage

onion

red bell pepper (rinsed, seeded, and chopped)

green bell pepper (rinsed, seeded, and chopped)

Salt and black pepper (to taste)

cayenne pepper

cream cheese (two blocks, cubed)

sour cream

hot sauce (such as Frank's)

mozzarella cheese (divided)

cheddar cheese (divided)

Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.

Heat the oil in a large heavy-bottom pot or Dutch oven over medium-high heat.

Season the chicken lightly with salt and black pepper and add the cubed chicken breasts and sausage to the pot. Cook until the chicken is lightly browned, about 4-5 minutes.

Add the chopped onion and bell peppers and cook until veggies are softened and chicken is cooked through, about 4-5 more minutes.

Add the cream cheese and sour cream to the pot and cook until cream cheese is melted and creamy, stirring constantly, about 2-3 minutes. Season the dip with salt, black pepper, garlic powder,  and cayenne pepper. Add cheeses and hot sauce and cook while stirring until the cheese is melted.

Transfer the dip to a lightly greased 12-inch cast-iron skillet or 9x13 baking dish. Bake dip in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes until golden and bubbly.

Allow dip to cool for about 10 minutes and garnish with sliced scallions if preferred. Serve dip with tortilla chips and crackers for dipping!

mini pretzels (about 3/4 cup; 16 pretzels)

mini pretzel sticks (about 27 pretzels)

unsalted peanuts

c. unsalted pecans

c. unsalted almonds

c. cashews

c. cheerios

c. unsalted pepitas (pumpkin seeds)

brown sugar

tbsp. finely chopped rosemary

cayenne

Arrange the nut mixture on the prepared baking sheet in an even layer and roast until the nuts are toasted and golden, 12 to 15 minutes.
