Tandoori salmon kebabs are perfect for a summer BBQ! Served in fresh pitas with a simple cucumber salad.

Tandoori Salmon

salmon

garlic

yogurt

tbsp cumin

tbsp garam masala

turmeric

paprika

olive oil

salt

pita bread

cucumber (sliced)

cilantro (chopped)

tsp coriander

tsp cumin

Prepare the salmon. Remove the skin, then cut into bite-size pieces.

In a medium bowl, mix all of the marinade ingredients until well combined.

Add the fish to the marinade and let the marinade coat the fish well.

Cover with a cling film and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes and up to 4 hours.

Thread the salmon on skewers.

BBQ or grill for 5-7 minutes on each side.

If you’re a fan of fakeaways then you will love these air fryer tandoori chicken skewers and rice. Perfect for a quick and easy lunch or dinner, this dish promises to satisfy your cravings with minimal effort.

Air Fryer Tandoori Chicken Skewers & Rice

Chicken Breast

Paprika

Cumin

Garam Masala

Ground Turmeric

Fat-Free Yoghurt

Tomato Purée

Garlic Purée

Ground Ginger

Salt

Black Pepper

Vegetable Oil

Lemon

Lime

Mint

Roti

Pilau Rice

Chop the chicken into chunks. Put all of the spices, yoghurt, tomato purée, garlic and ginger into a bowl. Squeeze in the lemon juice and add a dash of red food colouring, if you like. Add the chicken and coat well.

Thread the chicken chunks onto skewers and cook them in the air fryer at 200°C for 17 mins.

Meanwhile, put the fat-free yoghurt, juice of both limes, the mint and a pinch of salt and pepper into a blender. Whizz until smooth.

Serve the chicken skewers with the yoghurt dip and flatbreads or rice. 

Great recipe. I added some cucumber to the dip and added some chilli sauce to serve.

This easy Tandoori Salmon is made under 15 mins. Salmon is marinated in spices and herbs, later cooked in a oven or air fryer. Serve as an appetizer or a side.

Tandoori Salmon Recipe (Indian Salmon Recipe)

1.2 lbs. Boneless Salmon fillets ((550 grams))

salt ((adjust

Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder ((adjust to taste))

garam masala

cumin powder

coriander powder

garlic powder garlic

ginger powder ((or ½ teaspoon ginger paste))

lemon juice ((or lime juice))

oil oil

black pepper ((optional))

Kasuri methi ((dried fenugreek leaves))

If using oven, preheat it to 200 C or 390 F for at least 15 mins.

Add all the spices, salt  &amp; kasuri methi to a prepared baking tray, lined with a foil. Mix together and make a well in the center. (if you are air frying, you may use a mixing bowl instead)

Pour oil and lemon juice. Begin to mix adding more water until it becomes a smooth thick paste. We don&#39;t want a runny marinade. Taste this and adjust salt and lemon juice.

Pat dry your salmon with kitchen tissues and transfer to the baking tray. Smear the marinade on both the sides. If you want you may rest for 15 mins but that is optional.

In the oven: Bake at 390 F or 200 C for 10 to 12 mins. Later broil for 3 to 4 mins.

In the Air Fryer: If your air fryer requires preheating do it for 2 mins at 390 F or 200 C. Spray oil lightly into your basket/tray. Place the marinated salmon fillets in the basket/tray.

Air fry at 390 F or 200 C, for 7 to 10 mins depending on the thickness of your fillet. Fillets around 1 inch thick need 8 to 9 mins.

To check if it is fully cooked, poke it with a fork. It should flake easily. You may check using a instant read thermometer. Internal temperature should be 145F.

Serve Tandoori salmon hot or warm as an appetizer or a side. Drizzle some lemon juice if required.

How to Make Tandoori Salmon

This was delicious and very easy. I made the salmon in the oven, and it came out perfectly. I was afraid the marinade wouldn’t penetrate or be enough for my fillets, but it was well flavored.

Looks amazing and I plan to make it this weekend. Can the salmon be cooked on the barbecue, and if so, can you suggest a method (directly on grill, on a pan, etc.)? Or is it just better to stick with the oven method? Thanks!

This tandoori salmon is amazing. Didn't have chaat masala so used lemon juice &amp; cumin. Tasted delicious! Next time will try out with all the optional ingredients.
