This is my copycat recipe for Texas Roadhouse Rolls! These rolls are incredibly fluffy, buttery, super tender, and slathered in honey cinnamon butter. What more do I need to say?

Texas Roadhouse Rolls

tsp active dry yeast

water

tsp sugar ((to activate the yeast))

milk (scalded and cooled to lukewarm)

tbsp butter (unsalted, melted and slightly cooled)

sugar

all-purpose flour (up to 8 cups)

eggs

tsp salt

butter

butter (unsalted, softened)

honey

cinnamon

Add the yeast, warm water and sugar to the bowl of your mixer and lightly whisk. Let it sit for about 10 to 15 minutes until the yeast dissolves and starts to foam.&nbsp;

To the bowl of your mixer add the milk, butter, sugar, eggs and salt. Lightly mix everything together, using the dough hook of your mixer, for about 1 minute. Add the flour, 2 or 3 cups at a time, and mix. Add enough flour to form a soft dough.&nbsp;

Add additional flour as needed and mix until the dough comes clean from the sides of the bowl. You could use anywhere from 6 to 8 cups, depending on your environment. Place the dough in an oiled bowl and cover with a clean damp kitchen towel. Let rise in a warm place until double in bulk.

Spray two baking sheets with cooking spray.

Punch down the dough and turn it onto a floured surface. Divide into 2 portions for shaping. I like to roll out the dough so that it's about 1/2 inch in thickness then cut out the ends to have a perfect rectangle, then cut it out into squares or rectangles. Repeat with remaining dough. &nbsp;You should get about 30 to 35 rolls. Place onto the prepared baking sheets. Let the rolls rise until doubled in size..

Preheat your oven to 350 F degrees.&nbsp;

Bake the rolls for about 15 to 20 minutes or until golden brown. Brush immediately with melted butter.

While the rolls are baking, prepare the cinnamon honey butter by whisking all the ingredients together.&nbsp;

Serve the rolls with the cinnamon honey butter.

These Copycat Texas Roadhouse Rolls are brushed with sweet honey butter and can be made in a bread machine or by hand! A perfect side dish idea for holidays and family dinners!

Copycat Texas Roadhouse Rolls

Milk

salt

Tablespoons melted Butter, separated

Egg (at room temperature)

Honey

all-purpose Flour (or Bread Flour)

¼ teaspoon Active Dry Yeast (or 1 packet)

If using a bread machine, see next section below.

Bring the milk to a near boil. Remove it from heat when you see it begin to steam and small bubbles form on the side of the pan. Let it reduce to lukewarm, between 80-90 degrees.

Mix the milk, yeast, and honey in a small bowl until well combined. Let it sit for 5 minutes.

In a large bowl, mix 3 tablespoons of the butter, the milk mixture, the room temperature egg, and 2 cups of flour. Mix slowly until smooth. (Use a mixer with a dough hook if you have one, otherwise it works by hand.) Gradually add the remaining 2 cups of flour and mix until a dough has formed.

Add salt, and mix/knead for 8 minutes. Then drop the dough onto a floured surface and knead for a few more minutes.

Spray a large bowl with cooking spray and drop the dough inside. Cover the bowl (plastic wrap or a damp cloth works) and let it rise for an hour in a warm place.

Punch down the dough and roll it out on a flat, floured surface until it’s about ½ inch thick. Fold it in half and gently seal.

Cut into 24 squares of even size and place on 2 lightly greased cookie sheets. Cover them and let them rise for 30-40 minutes,, until doubled in size.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the top is a light golden brown.

Melt the remaining tablespoon of butter and brush the top of the rolls.

Serve with Copycat Texas Roadhouse Butter.

Add the ingredients to the bread machine in the order listed in the ingredient section of this recipe card. If your manual indicates a different order, follow that.

Set the bread machine to the dough cycle, let it do the work from there.

Once complete, Spray a large bowl with cooking spray and drop the dough inside. Cover the bowl (plastic wrap or a damp cloth works) and let it rise for an hour in a warm place.

Melt the remaining tablespoon of butter and brush the top of the rolls. Serve with Copycat Texas Roadhouse Butter.

Copycat Texas Roadhouse Rolls with Cinnamon Honey Butter

Cinnamon Honey Butter

In the bottom of your stand mixer bowl, add yeast and 1 tsp sugar to 1/4 cup warm water. Allow yeast to proof, or double in size, which takes about 5 minutes.

Place milk in microwave for 45 seconds. Add the butter to the milk and stir until it is completely melted. Allow milk to cool until it is lukewarm.

Once the yeast has doubled, add the milk to the yeast mixture. Add sugar and about half of the flour until it reaches a muffin batter. Let rest for 10 minutes.

Add egg and salt to the mixture. Mix well. Add remaining flour to form a soft dough. Knead the dough until it is smooth and satiny.

Cover and let rise until it doubles in size. Once it has doubled, punch the dough and let it rest for 10 minutes.

Lightly flour a surface and roll the dough into a large rectangle, about a 1/2 inch thick. Cut the rectangle in half, and then cut each half into 6 square pieces with a pizza cutter.

Place on a greased baking sheet and allow to rise until double in size.

Bake at 350 for 10-15 minutes or until the tops are golden brown.

To make the honey butter, whip together butter, powdered sugar, honey, and cinnamon and serve on warm rolls.

Texas Roadhouse Rolls are buttery and fluffy, just like you get at the restaurant, complete with homemade cinnamon honey butter!

water, (warmed (about 105-115°F))

(75 g) granulated sugar, (divided)

(2¼ teaspoons) active dry yeast

(245 g) whole milk, (warmed (about 105-115°F))

(99 g) unsalted butter, (melted, divided)

egg, (room temperature)

½ cups (444.5 g) bread flour

(½ stick / 57 g) unsalted butter, (softened)

confectioners' sugar

Combine water, sugar and yeast.

In the bowl of a stand mixer using the paddle attachment, combine the water, 1 teaspoon of sugar, and yeast, letting it sit for about 5 minutes (or until sugar and yeast are dissolved). (Note, this will be a thick mixture)

Add remaining sugar, butter, milk, salt.

Add in the remaining sugar, milk, 6 tablespoons butter, and salt and mix until just combined.

Add egg.

Add flour and beat.

Add the flour to the yeast mixture, and mix for about 3 minutes at medium-high speed. Scrape the dough into the center of the bowl.

Knead dough.

Switch out the paddle attachment for the dough hook. Knead the dough on low for 3-4 minutes.

Place dough into bowl.

Lightly spray a large bowl with nonstick cooking spray. Place the dough into the bowl.

Cover dough and rise.

Cover the dough with a clean kitchen towel or plastic wrap and let it rise in a warm place for 1-2 hours (or until doubled in size).

Prepare baking dish.

Lightly spray a 9x13-inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray. Set aside

Punch down dough. Divide into rolls.

Gently punch down on the risen dough to deflate it. Divide the dough into 12 equal pieces. (You can do this by continuing to divide the dough in half until you are down to 12 pieces. Or, roll the dough into a log and use a bench knife or stiff spatula to cut it into 12 pieces.)

Place rolls in pan.

Round each piece into a smooth ball and place in the prepared baking dish, evenly spaced.

Cover rolls.

Cover the rolls with a kitchen towel and let them rise in a warm place for about 30 minutes, or until about doubled.

Preheat oven.

Preheat the oven to 350°F when the rolls are nearing the end of their rise time.

Bake.

Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.

Brush with butter.

Remove from the oven and brush with the remaining tablespoon of melted butter. Serve warm with the cinnamon honey butter.

Combine honey butter ingredients and serve.

In a medium bowl, using a hand mixer on medium speed, add the butter, confectioners&#39; sugar, honey, and cinnamon. Beat the ingredients together until fully incorporated. Serve with the warm rolls.

CINNAMON HONEY BUTTER

Soft, fluffy and golden brown, these delicious bread machine dinner rolls are perfect for all occasions.

Easy Bread Machine Dinner Rolls

butter (*melted)

flour (*all-purpose)

tsp yeast (*or one package)

Put ingredients into your bread machine pan, in order listed above. *Create a well for the yeast and keep it from touching anything liquid

Put bread machine on dough cycle and press start.

Once dough is done, spray a 9 x 13 baking pan with cooking spray.

Flour a cutting board and remove dough from pan. Place on floured surface.

If you want the hamburger buns I mentioned above, divide dough into 12 rolls; if you want dinner rolls, divide dough into 20 rolls.

Roll each dough ball a few times with your hands and place seam side down in your greased pan.

Melt about 4 tbsp. butter (you will only need half, save the other half for step #11).

Brush the tops of the dough rolls lightly with butter.

Allow pan to rise for 45 minutes.

Once rolls have risen a bit, preheat oven to 375 degrees and bake for 16-18 minutes.

Remove from oven and brush with remaining melted butter. Serve!

In a small bowl, add milk and sugar, sprinkle yeast over it.

Let the yeast set until foamy, about 5 minutes.

Add the yeast mixture to large mixing bowl. Then add ¼ cup butter, egg, salt and 2 cups flour. Beat the mixture on medium speed until batter is smooth.

Gradually add flour until soft ball of dough forms. Then increase speed on mixer to medium high and beat for 2-3 minutes longer. Dough should be tacky, but not sticky. If too sticky, add more flour 1 tablespoon at a time.

Lightly grease large bowl and place dough in ball, turning once to coat. Cover the bowl with clean dish towel and set in warm place to rise until doubled in size, about 45-60 minutes.

Punch the dough down dough gently. Lightly flour work surface and turn dough out of bowl. Knead lightly if necessary.

Let set a few minutes while you prepare the baking sheets with a silicone mat or by spraying with non-stick cooking spray.

Roll dough out to 12x8 inch rectangle, ½ inch thick.

Cut the dough into even pieces using a sharp knife so you have 24-30 pieces of dough.

Transfer rolls to prepared baking sheets. Cover with dish towel and let rise in a warm place until almost doubled in size, about 45-60 minutes.

About 20 minutes prior to rising being done, preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Place the rolls in the preheated oven at 350 degrees F. Bake rolls for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.

Remove from oven and brush with melted butter.

Cut into 24 squares of even size and place on a 2 lightly greased and lightly colored baking sheets. Cover them and let them rise for 30-40 minutes,, until doubled in size.

Warm the milk in a small saucepan over medium heat until bubbles start to form around the edges of the pot. Reduce the heat to low and continue cooking until the temperature reaches 105°F (40°C).

Grease a baking sheet with butter, then arrange the dough squares on the pan, spacing evenly. Cover with a damp towel or plastic wrap and let rise for 1 - 1 1/2 hours or until the rolls have doubled in size.

Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C). Melt remaining butter and brush the tops lightly. Bake the rolls for 15-20 minutes OR until the tops of the rolls are light golden brown. Brush again with remaining melted butter mixed with honey.

Serve the rolls warm with the cinnamon butter alongside.
