These Protein Balls with Dates make a great snack when you are on the go. They can be made and then frozen and both regular and Thermomix instructions are included.

Protein Balls with Dates Recipe

Medjool Dates

Almond Meal (100 grams)

desiccated coconut (40 grams)

tbsp cacao (15 grams)

golden flaxseeds (20 grams)

tbsp chia seeds (10 grams)

coconut oil (liquid)

Place the extra coconut into a bowl and set aside until needed.

Remove the pits from the Medjool Dates and place them into a Food Processor.

Add the remaining ingredients and blitz until the mixture starts to &#039;clump&#039; together.

Use a teaspoon to scoop up the mixture and squeeze it together before rolling into balls.

Roll the balls in the extra coconut and place onto a tray/or into a container

Place the balls into the fridge to firm up and chill.

Remove the pits from the Medjool Dates and place them into your Thermomix.

Add the remaining ingredients and select the 2 second &#039;Turbo&#039; function.

Blitz 6 - 8 times or until the mixture starts to &#039;clump&#039; together.

Thermomix Instructions

This simple Chicken Noodle Soup recipe is the perfect meal to end the day with. It can be made using any leftover vegetables and can also be made using a Thermomix.

Simple Chicken Noodle Soup

litre water (only if cooking in a Thermomix)

vegetable stock paste (only if cooking in a Thermomix)

extra virgin olive oil

celery

carrot

chicken breast

corn kernels (1 tin)

brown onion

corn flour

spaghetti (broken into small pieces)

Add the vegetable stock to a large saucepan over a medium high heat and bring to the boil. Add the chopped chicken pieces and return to the boil.

Reduce the heat until the stock is simmering. Cover the saucepan with a lid and cook for 10 minutes or until the chicken pieces are cooked through. Remove from the heat and let the chicken sit in the liquid for 5 minutes before transferring the chicken pieces to a separate bowl. KEEP the stock!

Meanwhile, add the olive oil to a frying pan along with the garlic cloves (which have been crushed), onion (finely diced) and celery and carrot which has been chopped into small pieces. Cook for 4 - 5 minutes or until the onion turns translucent.

Place the saucepan with the stock back onto the stove over a medium heat. Add the ingredients you have just cooked in the frying pan along with the corn flour and stir to combine. Bring the mixture to the boil then reduce the heat and let it simmer for 10 minutes.

Add the corn kernels and shredded chicken and spaghetti pieces and cook for a further 5 - 8 minutes or until the spaghetti is al dente.

Transfer the soup to four serving bowls and enjoy.

Place the chicken (which has been cut into cubes) and 1000g of water into your Thermomix bowl. Cook for 12 minutes on Varoma, speed 2 with the measuring cup in place or until the chicken has cooked through.

Drain and save the cooking water for use later.

Blitz the chicken for 3 seconds on speed 4. Transfer to a new bowl and set aside until needed.

In a clean and dry Thermomix bowl add the garlic clove, onion, carrot and celery (which have both been cut into 3cm pieces) and blitz for 4 seconds on speed 6.

Add the olive oil and cook for 3 minutes, 100 degrees, speed 2.

Add the reserved cooking water, corn flour and cook for 12 minutes, 100 degrees, speed 2.

Add the reserved shredded chicken, spaghetti (which has been broken into small pieces) and corn kernels and cook for a further 6 minutes, 100 degrees  speed 2, reverse. If the spaghetti hasn’t quite cooked through, cook for a further 2 minutes, 100 degrees, speed 2, reverse.

Pour the soup into 4 bowls to serve.

These delicious Thermomix Chicken and Parma Balls make the perfect  quick and easy dinner!

Thermomix Chicken Parma Balls.

breadcrumbs (3 slices of stale bread.)

cheese

zucchini

carrots

kilogram chicken mince

tbsp herbs

tbsp onion flakes

salt and pepper

tomato passata

mozarella (grated)

Preheat oven to 190 degrees celsius (fan-forced).&nbsp;

Place the stale bread, parmesan cheese and garlic into the Thermomix bowl and mix for 10 seconds on Speed 8. Set aside.

Place the zucchini and carrot into the Thermomix bowl and mix for 4 seconds, speed 6 to grate. Add the breadcrumb mixture.

Add the chicken mince, mixed herbs and onion flakes and mix for 10 seconds, speed 4 to combine.

With wet hands form mixture into small meatballs and place into a greased baking dish. Place into the oven for 35 minutes.

While the Chicken Parma Balls are cooking, combine the passata, tomato paste, water, mixed herbs and onion flakes into a clean Thermomix bowl and cook for 6 minutes, 100 degrees, speed 2.

Remove the Chicken Parma Balls from the oven and carefully pour the tomato sauce over the top. Sprinkle over the cheese and return to the oven for a further 10 minutes or until the cheese is melted.

Thermomix Vegetarian Sausage Rolls

stale bread (approximately 2 slices torn into small pieces.)

puff pastry (partially thawed)

egg (to brush the pastry)

Preheat your oven to 210 degrees celsius (fan-forced) and lightly grease two baking trays.

Place the garlic cloves, onion , carrot and zucchini into your Thermomix bowl and mix for 6 seconds on speed 5 to grate.

Scrape down the sides of your Thermomix bowl and add the dried mixed herbs, walnuts and rolled oats. Mix for 4 seconds on speed 5 to combine.

Scrape down the sides of your Thermomix bowl and add (in this order) the torn pieces of stale bread, eggs and feta cheese and mix for 20 seconds on speed 5 to combine. Use your spatula to push the ingredients down into the bowl for the first 10 seconds.

Place your partially thawed pastry onto your bench and cut in half lengthways. Add filling along the centre of each pastry piece and then carefully roll to enclose. Cut into 4 pieces. Repeat until you have used all of the mixture/pastry.

Place the Vegetarian Sausage Rolls onto your baking trays and brush with the extra egg which has been lightly beaten.

Transfer to your preheated oven and bake for 25 minutes or until the pastry is puffy and golden.
