Pizza Dough (1 large crust recipe)

Pizza Toppings

Preheat oven to 400 Degrees F.

Spray 4 10-ounces oven safe ramekins with baking spray inside and on the sides of the outside, and set onto a baking sheet.

Place slices of cheese into ramekins by placing short ends of each piece of cheese in the middle of the bowl.

Add 2 tablespoons of pizza sauce into each ramekin on top of the mozzarella cheese.

Add pizza toppings if using, being careful not to overfill the ramekins.

Add an additional 2 tablespoons of pizza sauce if desired.

Top filling with one slice of Provolone cheese.

Divide pizza dough into 4 equal size pieces and stretch each piece into circles 1 to 1 1/2 inches larger than the top of the oven safe ramekin.

Place the dough over the filling and gently press dough around the outside of the ramekins.

Place into the preheated 400 Degree oven and bake until crust is golden brown, 15 to 25 minutes.

Remove from the oven and invert onto a serving plate.

Carefully remove the ramekin from the pizza pot pie. It may be necessary to run a knife around the edge of the dough to loosen it. Using tongs may be helpful with this step.

Upside Down Pizza

green bell pepper (chopped)

mini pepperonis ((5 ounce package))

Italian seasoning

spaghetti sauce ((24 ounces))

mozzarella

flour (all purpose)

eggs (room temperature)

milk

olive oil

salt

Cook the Italian sausage, onion and bell pepper in a large skillet over medium high heat until sausage is cooked through completely and vegetables have started to soften. Drain grease, if necessary.

Add the mini pepperonis and Italian seasoning and cook for another minute or two.

Stir in the spaghetti sauce and allow to simmer for several minutes.

Spread the meat mixture into the bottom of a 9x13 inch casserole dish, then sprinkle the shredded mozzarella evenly over the top.

In a medium sized bowl, whisk together the flour, eggs, milk, vegetable oil and salt, then pour evenly over the top of the cheese.

Bake at 400°F for 25 to 30 minutes, until dish is bubbly and the crust has puffed up and started to brown.

Allow to rest for several minutes before serving.

Apple (Sliced Thinly)

Honey

Banana (Sliced)

Tablespoons Nutella

Medium Tomato

Teaspoons Olive Oil

Tablespoons Grated Parmesan Cheese

Teaspoon Dried Basil

Slices Mozzarella Cheese

12-18 Pieces Sliced Pepperoni

Tablespoons Pizza Sauce

Remove the puff pastry from the freezer and place into the refrigerator to let thaw overnight. 

Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.

Remove the pastry from its packaging and flatten it out a bit about a couple inches. You will need a little bit of flour to it prevent sticking to your countertop. 

With a pizza cutter or knife cut into 6 even portions. 

Make the egg wash. Crack the egg into a small bowl and scramble with a fork or whisk until light and foamy.

Line a metal tray or sheet pan with parchment paper. 

Drizzle a little honey and top with sliced apple. Place a portion of puff pastry over the apple and honey. 

Lightly press on the sides of the pastry to seal it down a bit. Brush with the egg wash and it’s ready to bake. 

Honey Apple 

Place 4-6  slices of banana and top with Nutella. Place a portion of puff pastry over the banana and Nutella.

Nutella Banana

Drizzle a little olive oil and top with dried basil. Layer with sliced tomato and sprinkle Parmesan cheese. Place a portion of puff pastry over the tomato and parmesan.

Tomato and Parmesan 

Place 4-6 pieces of pepperoni and top with mozzarella. Spread pizza sauce evenly and top with a portion of the puff pastry over the pepperoni and mozzarella cheese.

Pepperoni Pizza

Place into the oven and bake for 12 minutes until golden brown. Let fully cool and flip them over. Enjoy.
