Easy, simple, wonderfully delicious glazed roasted carrots prepared with the most incredible garlic butter and sweet honey sauce.

Honey Garlic Butter Roasted Carrots

carrots (diagonally

honey

salt

pepper

parsley (for garnish)

Preheat oven to 425F.

Grease a rimmed baking sheet with cooking spray and set aside.

Cut up the carrots and set aside.

Melt butter over medium-heat in a large nonstick skillet.

Add garlic and cook for 3 minutes, or until lightly browned, stirring very frequently. DO NOT burn the garlic.

Remove from heat and stir in the honey; stir until thoroughly combined.

Toss the carrots with the prepared sauce either in the skillet, or pour the sauce over the carrots in a mixing bowl. Season with salt and pepper, and mix until well combined.

Transfer carrots to previously prepared baking sheet.

Arrange in one layer and bake for 22 to 25 minutes, or until carrots are browned and tender.

Remove from oven and transfer to a serving plate.

Taste for seasonings and adjust accordingly.

Garnish with fresh chopped parsley.

Serve.

In a large bowl, soak the potatoes in cold water for about 30 minutes or up to 24 hours in the refrigerator.

Preheat the oil in the deep fryer to 170 °C (325 °F). Place a wire rack on a baking sheet.

Drain and pat the potatoes dry with a clean cloth and place them in the deep fryer basket. Place the basket into the hot oil and cook for about 2 minutes

Drain and scatter the fries on the wire rack. Let cool. Increase the deep fryer oil temperature to 180 °C (350 °F).

Place the potatoes into the fryer and fry for 2 to 4 minutes or until the fries are golden brown. Remove the fries from the fryer and drain on the rack or paper towels. Sprinkle with salt and keep in a warm oven, if necessary.

Divide the fries onto four plates, top with the cheese and sauce.

With the rack in the lowest position, preheat the oven to 200 °C (400 °F).

In a large pan, bring the milk, cream, onion, and garlic to a boil. Simmer gently for about 5 minutes. Remove the onion and garlic. Add the potatoes and salt. Bring to a boil and simmer very gently for about 15 minutes, stirring gently several times. Stir in the cheese and adjust the seasoning.

Spoon into a 23-cm (9-inch) square pan or 28 x 20-cm (11 x 8-inch) rectangular baking dish. Bake for about 50 minutes or until the potatoes are tender and golden brown. Let stand for about 15 minutes before serving. It will be easier to cut and serve the gratin.

Serve and season with pepper. Serve with a tangy green salad and roasted meat (turkey, roast beef, veal, or pork).

Ce gratin dauphinois est devenu un classique que mes enfants (maintenant très grands) me demande à chaque année! Un succès à chaque fois (J’utilise des Russet)

Super j'ai rajouter du mimollet et fontina

C’est vraiment le meilleur!  Je l’ai fait plusieurs fois, et comme plusieurs ici, il m’est arrivé que ça se sépare. J’ai découvert que c’est le fromage qui « caille » quand on le met dans un liquide trop chaud. Donc le mettre dans le mélange légèrement refroidi.

J'ai essayé cette recette et ce fut une réussite. Merci. J'ai mis 2 sortes de cheddar fort et le goût était super.

Cette recette a demystifié la recette du gratin dauphinois . Bravo Ricardo ! C'est ce qui fait ton succès . Je mets uniquement du lait pour que ce soit mois riche et j'utilise du cheddar fort qui a un bien meilleur gout que le gruyere . 
Recette facile à faire et délicieuse , il faut juste laisser l'oignon et l'ail dans le mélange et le gout sera bien meilleur .

Très déçue du résultat… j’ai suivi la recette à la lettre et c’était beaucoup trop liquide, ca fini en mottons et même a feu doux le fromage à fini par collé au fond…

Ratatouille

eggplant, cubed

olive oil

garlic cloves, finely chopped

lb (225 g) white button mushrooms, quartered

tsp red pepper flakes

yellow bell peppers,

zucchini, cubed

(28 oz/796 ml) diced tomatoes, drained

thyme

(10 g) basil, chopped

In a large pot over medium-high heat, brown the eggplant and onion in ¼ cup (60 ml) of the oil. Season with salt and pepper. Add the garlic and cook for 1 minute. Set aside in a bowl.

In the same pot, brown the mushrooms with the pepper flakes in the remaining oil. Set aside with the eggplant.

In the same pot, brown the bell peppers and zucchini. Add oil, if needed. Return the eggplant mixture to the pot. Add the tomatoes and thyme. Stir well. Bring to a boil and simmer gently for 15 to 20 minutes. Remove the thyme and add the basil. Adjust the seasoning. Serve with pasta, fish, grilled chicken or on pizza.


Vraiment particulièrement excellente, même si j'ai préféré la faire sans les champignons mais plutôt avec des olives en mélange, légèrement épicées, afin de rester peut-être un peu plus dans l'esprit méditerranéen dans la première exécution de cette recette Ricardo. La texture également de l'ensemble était également particulièrement agréable. Merci @ vous.

Je ne suis pas friande de l’aubergine mais quelle délicieuse recette très facile

Le goût de la Provence. J’ajoute 2 tomates fraîches en dés, à la place des tomates en conserve, la consistance est meilleure.

C'est la première fois que j'essayais de faire une ratatouille et on s'est régalés.
Même mon chéri qui est habitué à la bonne ratatouille de sa maman a validé cette recette !

Bon mais horriblement long à cuire de la façon proposée, un truc après l’autre. Pas vrai que ça prend 35 mn.

Grosse déception, j’ai suivi la recette scrupuleusement et le résultat est très très fade, hormis le petit piquant du piment. 
Pour moi recette trop fade et manque de saveurs.

J'ai fait votre recette. Elle est excellente, mais ça fait 10 minutes que mon fils de 4 ans et demi me dit que ce n'est pas de la ratatouille parce que ce n'est pas comme ça que le petit rat fait. 

Cette recette est savoureuse et réconfortante.

incroyable, ça goûte la bonne ratatouille de ma mère... j'ai ajouté un peu d'origan pour rehausser la tomate, à part de ça c'est parfait comme recette!

Je rajoute du pesto à la recette et je sert sur un lit de couscous avec du fromage fêta. Un délice !
