Step 1

Line and spray or lightly oil a 6-inch round cake pan.

Step 2

In a large bowl, whisk together flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, baking soda, and salt.

Step 3

In a separate bowl, mash the banana (I do it quickly in a blender) and then mix in the eggs, sugar, milk, yogurt, oil and vanilla extract.

Step 4

Add wet ingredients to the dry, stirring until just combined.

Step 5

Pour batter into prepared pan, and sprinkle chopped walnuts on top.

Step 6

Preheat air fryer to 310F / 150C, place the pan inside the Air Fryer basket and bake for about 35 minutes or until a skewer inserted into the middle omes out clean.

Step 7

Remove banana bread from air fryer and place on a wire rack (srill in the pan) to cool for about 20 minutes before slicing and serving,

Preheat the oven to fan assisted 140C / 160C / 320F / gas 3 and prepare a 2-pound loaf pan.

Step 9

Add all the ingredients into a bowl and mix until combined.

Step 10

Pour the banana bread batter into the pan and smooth the top.

Step 11

Transfer to the preheated oven and bake for 1 hour or until a skewer inserted into the banana bread comes out clean.

Step 12

Transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before serving.
