Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

In a large mixing bowl or stand mixer, cream together shortening and sugar.

Remove from oven.

Let sit on cookie sheet for 10 minutes to cool and set.

Remove and place on wire racks to cool completely.
Step 12
Melt the white chocolate wafers and drizzle over the tops of cookies for garnish.
