Step 1

In a bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, brown sugar, and ground cinnamon. Add in the cold butter and cut it in using a pastry blender or two forks until coarse crumbs form. Stir in the pecans. Set bowl aside.

Step 2

Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease a 9x13 baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.

Step 3

In a small bowl, combine the applesauce, sour cream, and vanilla. Set aside.

Step 4

In a separate small bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.

Step 5

In a medium mixing bowl, cream the butter and sugar using an electric mixer or stand mixer until smooth and creamy. Add in the eggs stirring until just combined.

Step 6

Slowly add in the dry ingredients mixture and applesauce mixture stirring until just combined.

Step 7

Pour 1/2 batter into prepared pan followed by 1/3 of the streusel mixture.

Step 8

Pour remaining batter on top followed by remaining streusel.

Step 9

Place baking pan into preheated oven and bake for about 35-40 minutes, or until cake feels firm in the center and toothpick comes out clean when inserted into center of cake.

Step 10

Remove from oven and allow to cool slightly before serving!
