Step 1

In a large bowl, dissolve yeast and brown sugar in water. Let sit 10 minutes.

Step 2

Stir salt and oil into yeast solution. Mix in 2 1/2 cups of the flour.

Step 3

Turn dough out onto a clean, well floured surface, and knead in more flour until the dough is no longer sticky. Place the dough into a well oiled bowl, and cover with a cloth. Let the dough rise until double; this should take about 1 hour.

Step 4

Punch down the dough, and form a tight ball. Allow the dough to relax for a minute before dividing the dough in half, rolling out each into a circle about 12-14", depending on how thick you prefer the crust.

Step 5

Melt butter in saucepan on medium-low heat. Once butter has melted, whisk in flour.

Step 6

Gradually add in milk, whisking to combine as you go.

Step 7

Once all the milk has been added and it's hot {do not boil!} add the cream cheese. Whisk to combine. Heat the sauce back up before adding Parmesan cheese. Simmer sauce until all is melted, and well mixed. Add in the salt, garlic powder and pepper to taste.

Step 8

Heat your oven to 450°F. Place oven rack in low position.

Step 9

Stir garlic into alfredo sauce and then spoon sauce over the unbaked crusts.

Step 10

Top each pizza with half of the red onion and half of the mozzarella cheese.

Step 11

Sprinkle with spinach and bacon. Top with remaining cheese.

Step 12

Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the crust is golden brown. Let cool 5 minutes, then slice each pizza into 8 pieces.
