Place the heavy cream in a mixing bowl. Add the sugar in small amounts while whisking with a wire whisk, mixing until completely blended. Add the half and half while whisking. Add the orange juice concentrate and vanilla and whisk until all is blended. Add the mixture to an ice cream maker and process as directed by the machine manufacturer. Store the ice cream in an airtight container in the freezer.
