Step 1
Allow gelatine dissolved in water to stand until clear.
Step 2
In a large mixing bowl, beat at high speed the milk, vanilla and salt until the mixture triples in size.
Step 3
While still beating, gradually add the sugar and then the gelatine.
Step 4
Place mixture in a container. Place in freezer and stir occasionally.
