Step 1

Place the removable pot into the Ninja Foodi and press the Saute' feature. You will keep the lid open and set it to high.

Step 2

Start by adding 2 tablespoons of butter to the inside pot of the Ninja Foodi and letting it melt.

Step 3

While the butter is melting, measure two cups of rice.

Step 4

After the butter has melted, add the rice to the pan. Stir to coat the rice in butter. You will saute' the rice on high for about 45 seconds to a minute.

Step 5

Add 2 1/3 cups of water to the removable pot. For additional flavor, you could use chicken broth or vegetable broth.

Step 6

Place the pressure cooker lid onto the Ninja Foodi with the steam valve sealed.

Step 7

Press the pressure cook button and set the temperature to low. Set the cooking time to 3 minutes and select start. **Make note that you should not use the high setting for this recipe.

Step 8

The Ninja Foodi will take several minutes to come up to pressure and then the rice should pressure cook for 3 minutes.

Step 9

When the cook time has finished, you will allow the steam to naturally release for 10 minutes.

Step 10

After 10 minutes, move the valve from seal to vent and quick release the remaining steam.

Step 11

Serve in a variety of ways--add meat, as a side dish, or use in a casserole.
