Honey &amp; Pistachio Goat Cheese Appetizer

honey

fig preserves

pistachios

Place cheese log on serving dish.

Heat honey and figs in a glass bowl in microwave until preserves are melted or heat on low on the stovetop.

Drizzle honey syrup over goat cheese and sprinkle on chopped nuts.

Serve with crackers.

The four of us loved this-we could have eaten another full recipe of it!

I only had fig preserves with chilis, which was delicious because it added a slight heat to it. This would also be good with chopped pecans.  Delicious and different!
