Step 7
When the sauce has thickened and reduced by 1/3, remove from heat and cool (it will thicken much more as it cools!)
Step 8
Keep the homemade barbecue sauce in an airtight container, it will hold in the fridge for up to 7 days, or in the freezer for 3 months.
