Combine all the ingredients: Take your beans, rice, and kimchi and place them in your bowl to combine.

You can even throw in vegetable or chicken broth cubes for a more savory taste.

The amount of kimchi you'll use will be up to you; just make sure to have at least 15 ounces of black beans.
Step 5
Season the entire mixture with a teaspoon of cumin, garlic powder, and onion powder before turning the rice cooker on.
Step 6
Add additional toppings: You can add additional toppings after the rice finishes cooking. If you're a vegetarian or a vegan, a little avocado should give the dish a little more flavor.
