Heat oil and garlic over low heat in wok or skillet. Stirring frequently until garlic is browned.

Scoop out 1 Tablespoon of the cooked garlic and set aside, this will be used for garnish.Add to the pan butter and ground Turmeric, cook until the butter is melted. Add the rice to the pan, increase heat to med-high. Press down the rice, use a spatula to break apart chunks so that all grains are separated and coated. When rice is completely coated and heated through add in soy sauce and salt. Add more to taste. Serve immediately with reserved browned garlic as garnish.
