In a food processor, pulse the chickpeas and tahini together.

Step 2

2, Add the garlic, lemon juice and 2 tablespoons of water and process. Then, with the motor running, drizzle in 1/4 cup of olive oil until the hummus is smooth.

Step 3

Add in a pinch of salt and taste. Season to your liking. Serve in a bowl and sprinkle the top with the paprika. Garnish with an extra drizzle of olive oil and, if desired, the pine nuts and chopped parsley.
