Step 1
Preheat your oven to Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
Step 2
Allow the beans to drain thoroughly so they aren’t wet when you season them. (*See recipe tips!)
Step 3
In a large bowl, gently toss the beans with olive oil.
Step 4
In a small bowl, mix together the garlic, onion, cumin, smoked paprika, salt, pepper, cayenne, and cornstarch. Add this mix to the bowl with the beans and gently toss to coat the beans in the seasonings.
Step 5
Dump the seasoned beans onto the lined baking sheet and gently spread them out in a single layer.
Step 6
Bake for 15 minutes, then stir the beans and return to the oven for 15 more minutes. Check to see if they are crispy and make sure they aren’t burning and continue cooking for 5 minutes at a time until they are crispy.
Step 7
Enjoy right away or store in a sealed container at room temperature for 2-3 days. They won’t be as crispy after being stored.
