Step 1
Preheat your oven to 425°F.
Step 2
Combine ricotta, olive oil, garlic, salt, and black pepper in a food processor or blender and blend until combined and smooth.
Step 3
Spread the ricotta mixture evenly over the top of the flatbread.
Step 4
Add cheese, pickles, and bacon to the flatbread. I put three whole slices of provolone on one side and three half-slices on the other side (see picture above).
Step 5
Bake at 425°F for 8-12 minutes directly on your oven's middle rack, until the sides and bottom of the flatbread are golden-brown. Slice into squares and serve immediately.
