Step 1
Wash the quinoa and cook it according to the directions on the package. For the Quinoa and Dates Porridge recipe, we will need the grains to be a little more cooked and softer than usual.

Strain if there is any residual liquid and pour it back into the pot, also adding the coconut oil, sugar and cream. Stir for about a minute or two. If the porridge seems dry, add more coconut cream. Do not overdo it with the sugar, because dried fruits are also sweet. Instead of coconut sugar, you can use your preferred sweetener.
Step 3
Cut the dried apricots and dates into small pieces, maybe even some of the pecans.
Step 4
Mix with the sweet quinoa and distribute it into two bowls. You can also add a pinch of cinnamon if you like.
Step 5
Decorate with whole pecans and serve the Quinoa and Dates Porridge.
